Im Gegenzug bedankt sich die Trockene Beerenauslese mit einer enormen Faszination und einer langen Lagerfähigkeit. Glücklicherweise ist die Freistadt Rust mit einem Klima gesegnet, das die Erzeugung hervorragender trockener Beerenauslesen erlaubt. Der nahe Neusiedler See versorgt die Weingärten im Herbst mit feuchten Nebeln, so dass die Trauben in den Genuss der Edelfäule (Botrytis) kommen und am Rebstock eintrocknen – unerlässlich für eine trockene Beerenauslese. Unser Wein trumpft noch mit einer weiteren Besonderheit auf: er ist ein Cuvée aus Chardonnay und Welschriesling eine Seltenheit in der edelsüßen Weinwelt. Er präsentiert sich goldgelb mit herrlich üppigem Duft nach getrockneten Früchten, vor allem Marillen und Rosinen, auch ein Anflug Exotik ist mit im Spiel.
