Baby Bio: What a beautiful boy! There are so many qualities to appreciate, the biggest standout for me being his crazy nontraditional bars on his left side! I am obsessed! I love how then, on the right side, his bar shape is far more traditional. Best of both worlds! His coloring is amazing too. At this point, I'm not seeing a ton of mom's influence. He definitely has some fantastic reds but he's not looking like he wants to go red body blue bar any time soon. As of now, he seems to be favoring dad. He is like a rainbow....he kind of has a little bit of everything! And his personality for the most part seems pretty cool as well! I can’t say having his picture taken was his all-time favorite activity, but he was reasonably well behaved all the same. He did flare up a little bit for the camera and he did have some sassy moments with me, but nothing super crazy! I actually think that he will probably be pretty reasonable to work with, and some yummy bugs should go a long way in a friendship building strategy!
PS: He is our last male ever from our beloved Fanaperana (AKA Pristine)! Forever grateful for the beautiful offspring he has blessed our family and our customers with! Thank you Pristine!

About this pairing (F10-CG16): Ok, what?! So fun! Two worlds collide with this extra special Ambilobe pairing! It's some of our finest "high yellow" lines x some of our finest "high red" lines! While I'm not exactly sure what to expect, one thing I feel strongly about...these babies should be fabulous!! We are hoping for some strong, punchy colors with a nice range! It's hard to imagine we won't see exactly that, just based on the parents!

UVB Lighting: Depending on cage size, we typically use T5 HO Reptisun 5.0 with a basking distance of 10 - 12 inches.
Temperatures: We provide a small, designated basking area under your heat bulb of approximately 88-92°F with cooler areas available throughout the enclosure. Ambient room temperature in the 70's is great!
Hydration: We recommend one longer morning misting session (5-10 minutes) approximately 30-60 minutes after lights come on, along with 2-3 shorter misting sessions spread throughout the day. Our goal is to provide multiple daily drinking opportunities + humidity spikes while allowing the enclosure to dry between mistings.
Feeding: Currently eating 1/2” crickets. Fed 6 days per week, approximately 10-15 insects per feeding. Crickets are dusted lightly with Repashy's Calcium Plus and gutloaded with Repashy's Bug Burger and fresh fruits and veggies.

Good little device

Nice little device. Works well with external drives and HDMI connections to a MacBook Air.
Doesn't work great with a mouse USB 2 donegal - sporadic.
Does work with USB 2 keyboard and a monitor HDMI for creating a "docking station" for my MacBook, but difficult with no mouse option.
Good quality. Fairly compact. Nice color! Decent value for money for a known brand.

No annoying "Disk not ejected properly" messages!

I use these with MacBook Airs, both Intel and Apple M3, and they stay connected. Previous —cheaper—dongles kept disconnecting with no apparent moving of the computer or the dongle. I'd get the annoying "Disk not ejected properly" message repeatedly, meaning I'd have to remove the dongle plug, reinsert it, and hope that the external device showed up on the computer and stayed connected.
These always stay connected and seem to work well for the external devices I use.
I think it's in the plug: with the Acer, I hear a distinct little click when the plug is fully inserted—perhaps some subtle locking mechanism the cheaper dongles did not have.

Instantly addressed a defective unit

2nd EDIT: Not only did the company offer a refund, they also generously shipped me another unit, and it works just as it should! They gave fast responses when the first unit gave me issues, and addressed it as well as you possibly could. I would use them any time!
EDIT: the company quickly reached out and offered a full refund as a result of a faulty product. For me, that goes a long way. I have plenty of ACER products and normally have no issues with them. could have just been a faulty single product.
Very bummed. For the first 2 hours of use it worked great. When it’s just USB-C to HDMI connected it works fine, but the second I go to plug my Mac in, while using the HDMI to stream to my monitor, the screen begins flashing every second or two on both my Mac, and the monitor. The flashing screen is happening at the same time the Mac keeps making its “chime” that the charger is connected, over and over again. Clearly something is going on that the charging is not staying active. whenever the charger is first connected it causes a quick(ish)black screen, which I could live with if it just happened right as I plugged the charger in… but when the charger KEEPS thinkings it’s just getting plugged in over and over, and keeps flashing, it kind of makes the product useless. And I’ve already thrown the box away so I guess I’m stuck with a product that doesn’t work. Super bummer.
