As she waves goodbye, the motifs around the china show the sailor's adventures on the high seas both above and below the waterline. The delicate pale blue linen finish of the original fabric inspiration is discernible on the tableware and finished with a stronger blue and gold line around the rim. Perfectly put together for taking tea, the Sailor's Farewell 3-Piece Tea Set includes a Teacup, Tea Saucer and Salad Plate 8". The Sailor's Farewell Teacup features the sailor's ship with its rust red sails and a curious octopus below in the depths while the Tea Saucer presents the loved one in her yellow dress gazing out at the ocean.
