Description:

**NOTE** DIY only.  Welded versions are no longer available.

The CUCV is based on a 1984 Chevy K30 and was produced by GM for the military from 1984-1987.  This winch mount is designed to work with the CUCV without any cutting or modifications to the truck.  It is mounted on the shackle mounts and can be used on the front or rear of the M1008 and M1028.  For the M1009, M1010, and M1031 it will only fit on the front.

Version 1.3 is all laser cut and CNC bent 1/4" HRPO A36 steel.  The winch bolt pattern is 10" x 4.5" and the fairlead bolt pattern is 10".  The lights in the design and pictures are Diode Dynamics SSC2s.  Shackle mounts and mounting hardware are included.  Winch, fairlead, shackles, and lights are not included.  Ships bare metal and ready to weld.  Designed for use up to a 12,000 lbs winch.

The DIY version has tab and slot to aid in welding.  Instructions coming soon.

So I’ll start by saying that I’ve bought many Bedsure products in the past. This one does not disappoint, but I also don’t feel like it’s 5 stars. It washed well and feels nice. Overall it’s a great duvet cover, but there’s three things I don’t personally like: 1. The price. Compared to their other covers, this one seems steep (though it’s probably the material that makes it more expensive?). 2. The material is somewhat shiny. I wasn't expecting that, and I don’t dig it. I’ve never had a cover that shines like this one does. 3. Pet hair retention is especially noticeable on this darker duvet (see photo). I’m sure this is either the fabric or the weave that causes this. For these three things, I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. That said, if you can snag this during a sale (and you don’t have pets or don’t mind hair clinging to the cover), go for it!

Yes, it’s organic cotton! After buying two other “100 % organic cotton” duvet covers on Amazon that turned out to be polyester/blends, I was happy to find an honest company and product. The duvet cover washes well, had no detectable odor out of the package, and is a good weight. I love the hidden zipper closure and find that it gets softer with use. I hope the zipper stays intact with prolonged use and gentle wash cycle. Note that I almost bought this in white but realized it’s a different material (bamboo) based on the product description. If you are looking at different colors, check the material carefully before buying.
