The drill bit is manufactured from HSS (hi-speed steel) and can be used to drill materials such as iron, steel, non-ferrous metals and plastics.
The shank is designed to have three flattened sides to ensure better grip in a 3 jaw chuck.
TIP:
When drilling hard metals, always use a coolant/lubricant. We recommend using
CT-90.
