A fresh and fruit driven chardonnay with complex flavours of white nectarine, peach and a touch of spice. The palate is well balanced, and generous with an elegant structure and a creamy, lingering finish. The lengthy palate offers juicy layers of tropical and ripe stone fruit with spice notes.
Fruit for this wine was sourced from several quality vineyards within Marlborough’s Wairau Valley.
The wine was partially fermented in new and seasoned French and American Oak barrels. Each barrel underwent malolactic fermentation to add depth and give fullness to the palate.
Food Pairing: An ideal match with poached salmon and leafy greens and a vinaigrette dressing.
