Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the belt is made from two plies of top-grain leather, permanently bonded together, and then topstitched for reinforcement and a refined finish. This creates a stiff carrying platform, nearly 1/4-inch thick, that won't twist or sag under the weight of police equipment. The same stiffness, combined with the unique buckle design, allows the tongue end of the belt to lie flat without needing a keeper loop, resulting in an extra-clean and sleek appearance. The belt also features six holes instead of the standard five, providing a wider range of adjustments, especially useful for accommodating inside waistband (IWB) holsters or scabbards. The oval shape of the holes helps the belt and buckle prong lie flat, enhancing comfort and functionality.

The distinctive metal buckle is an exclusive ASP design. It comes standard with a brushed nickel buckle, which can be easily changed by removing the screws with a standard 1/16” hex wrench (included with most ASP carrying cases).
