COURSE OVERVIEW:

Welcome to the Manage & Implement Workforce Planning course. This program will equip you with the strategic mindset, analytical capabilities, and structured processes required to design, implement, and evaluate effective workforce planning in modern organisations. You will explore what workforce planning means, why it matters, and how it ensures organisations have the right people, with the right skills, in the right roles, at the right time. This course also examines the organisational and labour market factors that influence workforce demand and supply, and the systems leaders use to anticipate needs, address shortages and surpluses, and guide long-term workforce sustainability.

This course begins with an examination of the meaning of workforce planning, its importance, and the outcomes it can achieve when implemented effectively. You will explore the difference between strategic and operational workforce planning, the stages of the workforce planning process, and how to build organisational capability to support workforce planning activities. This section also examines how workforce planning is organised, who is responsible for delivering it, and the skills needed to undertake analysis and decision-making. You will explore the workforce planning mindset, how to develop relevant data sources, and why access to reliable workforce information is essential for effective planning.

The next learning area focuses on understanding the organisation and its environment. You will explore how internal and external forces shape workforce needs, including trends in labour markets, demographic shifts, industry conditions, and competitive pressures. This section also examines the key questions practitioners must consider about internal labour markets—such as turnover, mobility, skills depth, and succession risks—and the questions that guide analysis of the external labour market. You will also explore the importance of understanding the organisational operating model, knowing organisational strategy, and asking the right strategic questions to ensure workforce planning aligns with business priorities.

A further part of the course addresses workforce analysis and segmentation. You will learn how to analyse your current and potential workforce, apply workforce segmentation techniques, and use workforce analytics to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities. This section also explores how to determine future workforce needs using the “right” principle—right size, right skills, right shape, right location, and right cost. You will examine methods for estimating workforce requirements, including scenario planning, contingency planning, and adaptive planning, followed by qualitative assessment approaches that incorporate expert insights and context-specific considerations.

This course then explores how to identify workforce gaps, summarise action areas, and select appropriate workforce strategies. You will examine how to interpret gaps between future needs and current capabilities, and identify actions that respond to shortages, surpluses, or skill mismatches. This section explains the steps involved in designing a workforce plan, including identifying interventions, developing timeframes, assigning responsibilities, and selecting measures that track progress and impact.

Another learning area focuses on monitoring, evaluation, and responsiveness to change. You will examine what is included in a monitoring and evaluation checklist, the critical issues to monitor and report, and how to adjust workforce plans as the organisation’s environment evolves. This section introduces the concept of the psychological contract and encourages reflection on how expectations between employers and employees influence workforce stability and engagement. You will also explore how to evolve your own workforce planning approach as organisational maturity, data capability, and strategic priorities change.

The final part of the course introduces the analysis measures used in modern workforce planning. You will explore workforce planning analysis measures, workforce performance and productivity measures, workforce cost measures, and organisational performance measures that help link workforce decisions to business outcomes. This section further examines regulatory compliance measures, organisation design and development measures, leadership capability measures, learning and development measures, attraction and recruitment metrics, and engagement and well-being measures. Together, these measures provide a comprehensive evidence base for informed workforce planning.

By the end of this course you will be able to understand the full scope of workforce planning, analyse workforce data, identify future needs, design responsive strategies, evaluate outcomes, and implement workforce plans that strengthen organisational capability, resilience, and long-term performance.

Simple. Effective. Good value
Item Package Quantity: 1, Style: 240 Count (Pack of 1)
So I prefer chewable that dissolve easily but these are have a slower process. The flavor is mild and pleasing. You can chew them but the texture is more like aspirin I let them melt away and within an hour or so get drowsy. I feel a clean effect from these the dosage 2.5 is good and I dream well with this product that for me is usually the test of how effective it is so A for this one!

Works well - how fast depends on the person taking it so timing when it's taken is important.
Item Package Quantity: 1, Style: 240 Count (Pack of 1)
This helps both of my kids get to sleep more easily at night. My oldest has ADHD and HAS to have melatonin to calm his mind enough to actually rest and sleep. My youngest who is 4 1/2 also needs a little help and always has. My cousins husband is a sleep scientist and I guess he has said that it's best to not give it any earlier than 1-2 hours before bed. However, I will say that for my oldest it takes about an hour to work so that is fine. For my youngest it takes only 15 minutes and then he is absolutely groggy and can't even finish dinner. So I HAVE to wait until 15 minutes before bed for my youngest. I will say that I notice my youngest gets a little cranky when he takes it but that could be just from pure exhaustion all of a sudden and the irritability for being so fatigued so quickly. Again, we just managed that by giving it to him only 15 minutes before its time for bed. Seems to work well.

Gets me to sleep but I don't care for the taste..

Some nights I have a very hard time getting to sleep. I have an even harder time staying asleep. I've tried many sleeping products so had to add this one to the list in my quest to find the best. When I want to go to bed I take this about 30-45 minutes beforehand. It takes about that long for it to start making me sleepy enough to try and sleep. It's not perfect by any means but it does work. I'm able to fall asleep much easier with it than without it. It's not great for helping me stay asleep though. I start waking up every hour (which is my "normal") after about 3-4 hours of sleep. I suppose I could take more at that time but I don't want to overdo it. My teenage son will take it once in a great while if he's having a hard time sleeping and for him it works great. He's able to get to sleep and stay asleep until morning. I don't care too much for the taste, but my son likes it. Overall I do like this Melatonin and don't expect miracles from it with it being an over-the-counter sleeping aid. I'll continue to purchase more when I run out unless I ever find anything that works better.

The best
Item Package Quantity: 1, Style: 240 Count (Pack of 1)
I buy these for my child who has autism and will not go to sleep on his own.. They aren't too strong, and they're easy to chew. They also like the flavor. Within about 20 minutes without any devices or distractions, he's asleep and most nights doesn't wake up again so the sleep is sound.. The amount you get for the price is so worth it. I used to buy it in stores and it was about the same price for half the lozenges. Great deal here and they also work. I wish they did offer more flavors, but the orange is good. Will definitely be purchasing again.
