The matte gray Shoeps Colette CMC 6U Microphone Amp, MK 41 Supercardioid Condenser Capsule & Low-Cut Filter is a Colette Series modular mono supercardioid condenser microphone bundle with a low-cut filter designed to provide consistent directionality and transparent, low-distortion sound pick-up of dialog, foley, and instruments in film, television, and music production. It includes the CMC 6U microphone amplifier, MK 41 condenser capsule, CUT 60 removable 60 Hz low-cut filter, foam windscreen, stand clamp, and polished wood case. The microphone features a transformerless Class-A output stage and supports 12V or 48V phantom power.

• CMC6-U 12-48 Volt Phantom Power Supply

  The Schoeps CMC6-U is a balanced output stage and +12 to +48V phantom power supply for the Schoeps Colette series modular capsules. The transformer-less output stage ensures low-noise and pristine audio reproduction throughout. The CMC6-U is terminated with a standard balanced 3-pin XLR connection for use with standard microphone inputs and preamplifiers.

• MK 41 Supercardioid Condenser Microphone Capsule (Matte Gray)

  The matte gray Schoeps MK 41 is a supercardioid condenser microphone capsule designed to deliver minimal coloration and accurate capture of speech and music for sound recordists and audio engineers in film, television, and video production and studio recording sessions. The supercardioid polar pattern offers enhanced attenuation of off-axis SPL and consistent directionality throughout its 40 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range, which naturally rolls off sub-bass frequencies.

  The MK 41 is compatible with Schoeps Colette microphone amplifiers and requires no tools to install.

• CUT 60 Low-Cut Filter for Colette Series Microphones (Gray)

  The gray Schoeps CUT 60 for Colette Series Microphones provides a sharp 24 dB/oct low-cut filter at 60 Hz, which helps cut down on unwanted low frequency noise caused by wind, the boom, or a cable. In particular, pressure-gradient transducers (directional microphones) produce high infrasonic signal levels when exposed to wind. This can saturate an input transformer or an amplifier stage, and can result in loud, unwanted pops and rumble in your audio. The CUT 60 filters out frequencies that are 60 Hz and below, helping to prevent your audio from being marred by these disturbances.

• Solid Foam Teardrop Popscreen for Schoeps Colette Series Microphones (Gray)

  This gray Solid Foam Teardrop Popscreen from Schoeps is an acoustic foam close-speech popscreen intended for use with Schoeps Colette Series microphones, but compatible with other microphone capsules as well. It provides sufficient protection at normal speaking distances for cardioids and other directional capsules, especially when speech capsules are used. With omnidirectional capsules, it may even be used outdoors in light wind. This popscreen has minimal effect on sound quality.
