The 4" Filter Holder with Sunshade from Schneider Optics is designed to hold up to two Schneider Motion Picture and Television filters measuring 4mm-thick that are 4 x 4" or 4 x 5.65". Other filters matching those dimensions can be used with this filter holder as well. The holder offers a full 360� rotation, effectively supporting compatible polarizing and graduated filters. The attached sunshade also features a full 360� rotation for precise lighting control independent of filters placed within the holder.
For direct attachment to lenses with 77mm front filter threads, a 77mm wide-angle adapter ring is included. This ring can be separated from the filter holder by use of the holder's brass pull tab to allow the installation of adapter rings for other front filter thread sizes. Alternatively, the included wide angle adapter ring can be fitted with conventional step-up rings so that it can be adapted to lenses that have filter diameters less than 77mm.
