Discerning.

Automotive lighting geeks will certainly be impressed with the Morimoto Bi-xenon Stage IV Projector retrofit system. With standard equipment from Morimoto and options from some awesome OEM's like Denso and Philips...your fog lights are going to be doing zero to full intensity in three seconds flat.

Projector Perfection.

There are other projectors that produce brighter hot spots. There are other projectors that have unholy amounts of width, but no other option creates the perfect balance of width & hotspot lux (aka distance) quite like the 5.0. In order to create the ultimate weapon for driving in the dark; Morimoto baked in all of the best practices from a variety of well-respected OEM and aftermarket projectors. Their latest and greatest equates to the perfect all-around perfomer. While it big boost in the performance department, it's also clear they've paid attention to the details in the parts department too. New bulb holders & lock rings are icing on our projector pie!

Shrouds.

Basically, they're the trim piece that adds the finishing touch to your new fog light retrofit. They cover the projector after it's installed to restore the factory-finished look inside the housings.

OEM Ballasts.

From Denso, these have a virtually-instant warm up time, bringing the HID bulbs to their full intensity within 2-3 seconds. When waterproofed, these ballasts are virtually "bomb proof" by preventing moisture damage and enhancing their warranty coverage.

Philips 85122 D2S Bulbs.

The benchmark for high quality 4300K HID lamps. With their extra long life span, unmatched precision, and high luminosity - they've been an OE benchmark for ten years.

Wiring Harnesses.

As one of the most important parts in any HID lighting upgrade; don't skimp out when it comes to your wiring. It doesn't matter how good your ballasts are. How good your bulbs are. If your harness is a piece of crap, when it gives out your fog lights are gonzo. Morimoto's harnesses are the best on the market and easily worth their premium price compared to cheaper alternatives. No matter which one is right for your application, the harness features triple-sealed central relay packs, 14ga stranded copper wiring, over-molded fittings, and plug-n-play functionality. This will ensure everything properly (and permanently) works with your vehicle's original in-cabin controls.

Optional Canbus Harnesses.

Instead of a traditional relayed harness that draws power from the battery, Morimoto's Standalone Canbus harnesses use two individual sub-harnesses to keep a load on the factory wiring. Recommended for vehicles that recognize when a bulb is out, these contain a series of capacitors and resistors to trick the car into thinking nothing has changed and help you avoid annoying "bulb out" warnings. We generally recommend them for use on most modern European applications instead of normal harnesses since they do a great job at providing stable power to the ballasts and canceling bulb out warnings.

Housing Sealant.

Protection is priceless! When you're putting together a set of high-end fog lights, the last thing you want is moisture in 'em the first time it rains outside. RetroRubber is the most effective way to make sure the original seal is fully restored.

Very Broad Overview. A Little Disorderly
        Format: Paperback
I liked the book. It's a very broad overview of the major time periods of Ancient Greece, concluding w/ Rome's conquest. It feels too short to convey all the information in a really meaningful fashion and sometimes the order the information is presented in seems a little disjointed. All in all, I felt like it was a good read and would recommend it to others seeking an introduction into the basic outline of the timeline and introduction to many of the major players.

Ancient Greece: the progenitor for modern day civilization
        Format: Kindle
This enthralling text explores Ancient Greece from its Bronze age origins to its capitulation under the Roman Empire. Furthermore, it emphasizes the long-reaching impact this heterogeneous collection of city-states had on political, scientific, mathematical, philosophical, architectural, and military development. All of this was accomplished in spite of constantly shifting intra-regional conflict between Athens, Thrace and Sparta. Outside enemies like the Persian empire only complicated relations further. This sibling rivalry-of-sorts evolved when Alexander the Great's Macedonian empire conquered the Greek world and supplanted itself in the greco-persian conflict. While Macedonia's did embroil the internecine conflicts in the area they hellenized the regions they conquered, including: Persia,Egypt, and parts of India. However, when Alexander the Great died it left a power vacuum exploited by his men, the Romans, and the Ancient Greeks. This ultimately resulted in the Roman Empire. Ancient Greece set the stage for roman empire and while they were an autonomous union of city-states for much of their existence two things united them: their language and religion. These two cultural touchstones united these city-states as brothers, albeit with a love-hate relationship at times. This text explores the archaic, classic, and hellenic periods of Greek history in a fascinating and concise manner. It is a must-read.
