SVS Sound Prime Wireless Pro SoundBase at Vinyl Sound Toronto Canada

The Prime Wireless Pro SoundBase is a wireless streaming integrated amplifier from SVS (Youngstown, Ohio, USA), available at Vinyl Sound in Toronto, Canada. A complete reimagining of the integrated stereo amplifier for the streaming era, the SoundBase houses a 300-watt Class D stereo amplifier (150 watts per channel into 4 ohms), a 192kHz/24-bit DAC, and a comprehensive wireless streaming platform in a compact enclosure measuring just 3.23 x 9.10 x 8.81 inches. With DTS Play-Fi lossless WiFi streaming, Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX and AAC, HDMI ARC/eARC, and a headphone output, the Prime Wireless Pro SoundBase delivers reference stereo performance with the connectivity of a complete modern audio system. Simply add speakers for an uncompromised listening experience. It received the EISA Best Value Streaming Amplifier Award 2023-2024, recognized by over 58 specialist publications from 29 countries as the outstanding amplifier value in its class worldwide.

300-Watt Class D Amplifier and 192kHz/24-Bit DAC

The heart of the Prime Wireless Pro SoundBase is a 300-watt Class D power amplifier delivering 150 watts per channel into 4 ohms, rated across a bandwidth of 10 Hz to 20 kHz at plus or minus 1 dB with a Signal-to-Noise Ratio of 100 dB. This level of amplification is sufficient to drive virtually any passive loudspeaker to its full dynamic potential, from compact bookshelf speakers to large floorstanding designs. A 192kHz/24-bit DAC renders the highest quality playback from all streaming services and connected digital sources, preserving full high-resolution fidelity when used with lossless audio inputs. Premium 5-way loudspeaker binding posts accept spade connectors, banana plugs, and bare wire for secure, low-impedance speaker connections. A 3.15-inch OLED front panel display shows source, artist name, song title, volume, and rich metadata from WiFi and Bluetooth audio sources, and a 3.5mm headphone output rated at 1V into 32 ohms provides private listening from the front panel. Against competing streaming amplifiers such as the NAD D 3045, the Cambridge Audio Evo 75, and the Bluesound Powernode, the Prime Wireless Pro SoundBase delivers 300 watts of Class D amplification and a more comprehensive streaming platform at a price that consistently outperforms its market segment.

DTS Play-Fi Lossless Streaming, HDMI ARC/eARC, and Multi-Room Audio

The Prime Wireless Pro SoundBase supports the widest streaming platform available in a wireless integrated amplifier at its price tier. DTS Play-Fi delivers lossless 192kHz/24-bit audio over WiFi via Critical Listening Mode, preserving the full fidelity of high-resolution audio from services such as Tidal, Qobuz, and Amazon Music HD. Apple AirPlay 2 enables CD-quality wireless streaming from any iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Chromecast allows direct streaming from Spotify, YouTube Music, and other Chromecast-compatible apps on Android devices. Spotify Connect enables direct Spotify streaming without a phone in the signal path. Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX and AAC covers all remaining devices. For home theater and TV use, the HDMI ARC/eARC input connects directly to a television for high-resolution stereo sound from the TV's audio output. A subwoofer output at 2V maximum allows any SVS or third-party subwoofer to be connected for deeper bass, and stereo RCA line-level outputs at 2V maximum allow the SoundBase to function as a source component or preamplifier output in a larger system. Multi-room and whole-home audio extends across all DTS Play-Fi enabled products, making the SoundBase the control hub for a networked streaming system throughout any home in Toronto or across Canada.

Smart Control, Six Custom Presets, and Input Flexibility

Control over the Prime Wireless Pro SoundBase is available through every modern interface. The DTS Play-Fi smartphone and desktop app provides full source switching, streaming control, and volume management. An IR remote with two AAA batteries is included for traditional remote operation. Alexa, Siri, and Google voice commands are supported via compatible devices without requiring a dedicated smart speaker. Six custom front-panel preset buttons provide one-touch access to favorite playlists, podcasts, and streaming stations. For wired sources, inputs include HDMI ARC/eARC, RCA stereo line level (20K ohm), 3.5mm AUX (20K ohm), Toslink optical (S/PDIF, up to 96kHz), Ethernet, and a USB service port that also powers the optional SVS SoundPath Wireless Audio Adapter. A 3.5mm IR control input enables integration with external control systems. The auto-switching 100-240V switch-mode power supply makes the SoundBase fully compatible with Canadian and international electrical standards, and the unconditional 2-year warranty covers the complete unit.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the SVS Prime Wireless Pro SoundBase?

The SVS Prime Wireless Pro SoundBase is a wireless streaming integrated stereo amplifier delivering 300 watts Class D (150 watts per channel into 4 ohms) with a 192kHz/24-bit DAC, DTS Play-Fi lossless WiFi streaming, Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX and AAC, HDMI ARC/eARC, a headphone output, and six custom front-panel presets, all in a 3.23 x 9.10 x 8.81-inch enclosure. It received the EISA Best Value Streaming Amplifier Award 2023-2024 and is available at Vinyl Sound in Toronto, Canada.

How does the SVS Prime Wireless Pro SoundBase compare to the NAD D 3045 and the Cambridge Audio Evo 75?

The SVS Prime Wireless Pro SoundBase outperforms both competitors in amplifier power and streaming platform breadth. The NAD D 3045 delivers 60 watts per channel with BluOS streaming and optional MDC2 module upgrades but lacks HDMI ARC/eARC connectivity, while the Cambridge Audio Evo 75 provides 75 watts per channel with StreamMagic streaming but also offers no HDMI input. The SoundBase answers with 150 watts per channel, DTS Play-Fi lossless WiFi streaming, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX and AAC, HDMI ARC/eARC, a subwoofer output, stereo line-level outputs, and a front-panel headphone output — all from a class-leading compact enclosure for buyers in Toronto and across Canada.

Can the SVS Prime Wireless Pro SoundBase replace a separate amplifier and streaming device?

Yes, the Prime Wireless Pro SoundBase is designed as a single-box solution that replaces a separate stereo amplifier, DAC, network streamer, and phono-less preamplifier. Its 300-watt Class D amplifier, 192kHz/24-bit DAC, and comprehensive streaming platform cover all the functions that previously required multiple components. The stereo RCA line-level outputs allow the SoundBase to function as a preamplifier source feeding an additional power amplifier or active speakers if the system later expands, and the subwoofer output integrates any passive or powered subwoofer without requiring a separate bass management processor.

What streaming services does the SVS Prime Wireless Pro SoundBase support?

The Prime Wireless Pro SoundBase supports DTS Play-Fi for lossless 192kHz/24-bit WiFi streaming from compatible services including Tidal, Qobuz, and Amazon Music HD. Apple AirPlay 2 enables CD-quality streaming from any iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Chromecast supports direct streaming from Spotify, YouTube Music, and other Chromecast-enabled apps on Android devices. Spotify Connect enables direct Spotify playback without a phone in the signal path. Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX and AAC covers streaming from any remaining device. The six front-panel custom presets can be programmed to any of these sources for instant one-touch recall.

Can the SVS Prime Wireless Pro SoundBase connect to a television?

Yes, the HDMI ARC/eARC input connects directly to any modern television's HDMI ARC or eARC output, routing the TV's audio to the SoundBase and connected speakers for a clean, high-resolution soundbar replacement configuration. The optical Toslink input provides an alternative TV connection for televisions without HDMI ARC. A subwoofer output allows the addition of any SVS subwoofer for deeper bass, creating a compact but powerful home theater stereo system with none of the compromises of conventional soundbars.

How does multi-room audio work with the SVS Prime Wireless Pro SoundBase?

Multi-room and whole-home audio is supported through the DTS Play-Fi platform, which allows the SoundBase to be grouped with any other DTS Play-Fi enabled products on the same WiFi network. This includes other SoundBase units, the SVS Prime Wireless Pro powered speakers, and DTS Play-Fi compatible devices from other brands. All grouped devices play the same source in synchronization via the DTS Play-Fi smartphone or desktop app, and any device in the group can be individually controlled for volume or removed from the group without affecting playback on the remaining units.

Where can I buy the SVS Prime Wireless Pro SoundBase in Toronto or Canada?

Fast paced romantasy you will not want to put down!
Format: Kindle
4.25 stars! I LOVED this book with similar vibes to Hush Hush, Fourth Wing, and The Serpent and the Wings of Night! It was fast paced with easy world building and will keep you turning the pages late into the night because you will not want to put it down! Huntyr is a fierce bad@ss FMC trained to kill vampyres her entire life. She is sent on a mission to go to the academy and earn her spot into The Golden City. Upon arrival, she is forced to room with the delicious fallen angel, Wolf, who is the only one who knows about her assassin identity. The romance, the plot twists, the secrets revealed, the battles, and the tantalizing training scenes had me hooked! And that ending…. I’m holding my breath in need to know hell! Read if you love: 🪽 Fae, Vampyres, Fallen Angels 🪽 Academy setting with magical trials 🪽 Forced proximity and slow burn 🪽 Rivals to lovers 🪽 Hidden identities and secrets 🪽 Tend your wounds “𝘖𝘧 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶. Excellent Rivals to Lovers!!
Format: Kindle
The tension and banter between Huntyr and Wold was delectable. I absolutely love the fallen angel and all of his flaws. Huntyr is amazing too being a badass FMC with some major trauma. The world building was great and I enjoyed the training aspect of the story. The writing was immersive and was in the story the whole time. The ending had quite a twist that I hadn’t anticipated and made my jaw DROP. Excellent job! I also loved the narration. Laura is one of my fave narrators!

Fallen Angels, fae, vampires, oh my!
Format: Kindle
Rating: 4.5 | Spice: 2 (but a good slow-burn) • Main Characters: Huntyr and Wolf • I couldn’t wait to read this book; there was so much hype about it! And there was no doubt why. I fell in love with the characters and the plot itself. This book is mainly plot driven more than friction driven but it’s easy to follow along with. The characters are fun, easily understood. The main setting is at an academy where both the main characters are going through trials and building strength for the final test, The Transcendent. There are fantastic side characters as well. I loved the camaraderie between Huntyr and her friends. But we don’t like Lanson. 😆 We do have some plot twists that come into play throughout the book. Secrets and betrayal to be seen. I did adore Wolf and Huntyr’s relationship. It was a classic slow burn trope. They didn’t hit it off fast, but in time their feelings grew. I loved their banter, so sexy. Wolf is your next book boyfriend; Huntyr is your next vampire assassin independent bad-a*s female. Themes include loyalty, trust, self-discovery, a true slow burn romance. Side note: book ends on a angsty cliffhanger! • Emily, thank you for writing this awesome novel and I cannot wait to devour Book 2, Blood So Brutal! 😍 • Happy reading, my lovelies! xo

“My heart bows to you and you only, Huntress.”
Format: Kindle
3.5 🌟 This book popped up in my KU recommended reading suggestions and the synopsis sounded like what I was in the mood for. I'm so glad I took a chance on it. I went into this knowing absolutely nothing about it and ended up really liking it. I love when this happens. The main characters are likeable and I easily found myself rooting for them. There is a mystery element to each of their backstories that I enjoyed watching unfold and can't wait to get more of. Wolf, in particular, has me fixated. Love him. I found this to be an entertaining, addictive read with a plot that moves along at a good pace. It reads so easily I found myself very reluctant to put it down. Lots of twists and turns and the angst is there. A good set up for the next book to come, for sure. My issues with this book....the dialogue feels a bit juvenile at times and there is a repetitive over use of a particular word phrasing that I found myself giving the ole eye-roll to. There are, without a doubt, some pretty cliche moments that gave me a bit of the cringe. I think this could've certainly 100% benefited from more depth regarding the world building. Perhaps the world building was sacrificed to keep the pacing quick? Just a guess. Also, the lack of consistency of character for the FMC was really evident and so she feels quite illogical at times. Overall, this was a fun and enjoyable read that hit the spot well enough for me. That ending certainly has me impatiently pining for book 2!

Interesting take on the genre
Format: Kindle
True rating: 3.25 ⭐️ I enjoyed the fresh take on the genre. The best way I could describe the setting and world is an apocalyptic dystopian version of Farie where vampires, fae, and angles struggle to survive in what is left of the world. It was definitely interesting throwing the academy/hunger games aspect into this world as well. Even though I guessed the final reveal early on in the book, I kept hoping I was wrong, and it would take a surprising turn. While the "plot twists" were a bit predictable to me, I still enjoyed the ride this book took me on. Another downfall for me was the plot holes in the world building... I.E. if society has fallen and the world is in the aftermath of war, how are there trains running around the world? Just to take young adults to the trials to get into the golden city? How is the train maintained, the tracks clear, etc? However, I did enjoy the FMC & MMC and thought they were fleshed out nicely. I also enjoyed the side characters but wish some were developed more like Ashalin (sp?). I do find myself rooting for the MCs to succeed and find happiness together, which is obviously an important aspect for romantasy. Overall, was this an earth-shattering, mind-bending, terrific piece of literature? No. But was it the worst thing I've read this year? Also, no. This book has, to me, the bones of a great read & just needs a bit more to push it from an alright book to a great book. Overall ratings: Plot- 3.5⭐️ World building 3⭐️ Spice 2.5 🌶🌶 Main characters 4 ⭐️ Supporting characters 3.5⭐️
