It supports native video resolution up to 2560 x 1600 at 60 Hz. Designed for use in secure defense and intelligence applications, this switch is NIAP PP 3.0 certified and includes security features that meet Information Assurance safe control standards.
This switch emulates the presence of a keyboard and a mouse for every attached computer through a USB cable, preventing direct connection between the peripherals and the connected computer. It also prevents unwanted and unsecure data from getting transmitted through the DDC lines by means of secure EDID learning and emulation.
The unit is equipped with internal anti-tamper switches, which sense attempts to open the device enclosure. Once the system identifies such an attempt, the unit shuts off connections with all the attached PCs and peripherals, disabling any functionality. The controller of the unit comes with a protection feature that prevents reprogramming or reading the firmware. The enclosure is also protected with a tamper-evident seal to provide a visual evidence if the unit has been opened.
