This singing bowl generates a very nice sound and is decorated with the image of Tara or of the Medicine Buddha and with some Tibetan mantras.
In Buddhist practice, singing bowls are used as a support for meditation and prayer. They are played either by striking with a soft mallet or by passing the wooden mallet around the rim of the bowl to produce an harmonic sound.
