And so it is this stranger who tells Amy that her mother has died of a broken heart.
Amy blames herself. How could she not? Her mother has never recovered from her oldest daughter leaving her, first for school, then to pursue her art, and finally to marry a white man. Vowing tobe there for her mother in death as she hasn't been in life, she books a flight to China. Haunted by the folk stories her mother told her about a shaman's journey to the underworld to retrieve her child, Amy undertakes a quest that strips away all the elements of her new identity, leaving her ready to make amends. But when she finally reunites with her family, things are far different than she remembers, and her loved ones are less than thrilled to welcome their prodigal daughterhome.
Interwoven with indelible scenes from Amy's childhood, The Light of Eternal Spring is a tenderly told story about leaving home and returning again, and about forgetting where you come from until you can't forget any longer. Blending playful magical realism with the family balancing acts all immigrants and artists know so well, Angel Di Zhang creates a nuanced portrait of family lost and family found, of the transformative power of art, and of the need to transform yourself in order to make art that's true.

Really really cute and easy to style

These look GOOD in person. The design is simple but really classy, and the straps don’t look or feel cheap.
The material feels like a smooth faux leather with a slight sheen. It doesn’t feel stiff, and the straps have a little flexibility so they don’t dig into your feet.
Comfort-wise, they’re about what you’d expect for a 4-inch heel. Not something I’d wear all day, but for a few hours or a night out they feel secure and easy enough to walk in.
The black color is perfect. It’s a true black and goes with pretty much everything.
Sizing felt true to size for me. I got an 8 and it fit just right.
At around $45, they feel like a fair value for a simple, stylish heel that looks polished without being over the top. I think they make sense if you want a simple pair of heels you can wear with multiple outfits without spending a lot more.

Sexy and Elegant Heels

I love the design of these high heels—they’re very sexy and feminine, and they make your legs look beautiful.
I’m planning to wear them on my birthday with a dark green dress (shown in my video), and I think they pair really well together.
The only thing I would change is the shade of gold. I wish it were a bit less bright, more like champagne or rose gold, so the dress could stand out even more.

Beautiful heels that fit perfectly

My wife loves these heels. She usually has issues walking in heels but these are easy for her to walk in. They really look great on her. They do a great job of showing off her long legs. She said they're very comfortable. These hells are made well and they're durable. They fit true to size and they're worth the money.

Let a friend borrow these for prom. They looked soo good. Beautiful shoes, comfortable, nice color, and survived dancing the night away. I would recommend these and think they are a great value. The fit is true to size as I’m an 8.5:
