- Metoko Bukota Society Anthropomorphic Post, Congo #43
- The Metoko People are the descendants of Lega migrants settled in the area of the middle Lwalaba, in the heart of the Equatorial Forest. Like the Lega People, their Political and Social Life is organized around a Secret Initiatory Association, the Bukota. The Bukota Society welcomes both men and women, and is compared to the Bwami Society of the Lega People. They are also culturally very close to their neighbors the Lengola People.
- Kakungu Figures, which belong to Bukota Initiates occupying the highest positions of the Village Governing Society, are used during the Initiation Rites and Funerary Rites; the beginnings of Community Life, as well as the End.
They indicate Rank and Status among Bukota Society Members, and usually represent a Male or Female Ancestor.
The term Kakungu symbolizes an old person, full of dignity and power, who has fallen victim to Witchcraft or Ritual Pollution. Adapted from page 382 of "Treasures of Africa - Tervuren Museum" - The Kakungu Figures, often geometric and decorated with incised and sometimes colored spots, played a role in the context of Initiation Ceremonies, and were then placed on the Tombs of High-Ranking Initiates. The two upper grades of Bukota Members, Nkumi and Kasimbi, enjoyed the prerogative of physically holding certain Objects of Worship. (ref.: Art and Life in Africa, Christopher D. Roy)

Fit perfectly, but questionably thin.
Style: CA11053A
This was an exact fit for my 2017 Kia Forte S. My only convern is that it is half the width of the stock filters. Hopefully the different material will make the difference over time. Didn't notice a loss or gain of torque or acceleration after swapping for my old dirty filter.

Increased MPG!
Style: 33-3131
I don't know if it increases power, but it for sure has an increase of 1-2 MPG. About the same MPG increase as a K&N, but half the price.

Time will tell
Style: CA11053A
As another reviewer pointed out, the OEM paper filter is almost 3 times thicker than this one. All things equal, thicker would mean for filtering surface area. So with less filter media surface area, the filter would clog up quicker. However, since this is washable, maybe that's a moot point. I also noticed on my Hyundai Tucson, the rim of this filter must be slighter thicker because I had a tougher time clipping the filter box closed with this one installed. I am keeping my OEM for now, just in case.

Perfect fit for my 2018 Civic—easy, affordable, and worth it
Size: 9.5" x 10.9" x 2.1"
I’ve bought this cabin air filter multiple times for my 2018 Honda Civic, and it’s consistently great quality. It fits perfectly and is super easy to install—takes just a few minutes to swap out, and I always do it myself. Way cheaper than going to a shop or dealership. The airflow is smooth, there’s no smell at all, and it keeps the inside of my car feeling clean and fresh. No weird odors, no dust blowing in—just a solid, dependable filter that does its job well. This is the only one I’ll keep buying.
