Lucian Burleigh's extremely rare 1887 view of White Plains, New York. The map is oriented with the top of the paper oriented to the northeast. It extends from Kensico Street (Now S. Kenisco Ave) to the conjunction of Banks Street and Fisher Avenue, and from the Bronin x River to Old Post Road (Maple Ave). The viewpoint is from a low perspective somewhat southwest of the city. In an unusual exception to Burleigh's style, which restricts presentation to buildings and landscapes, and does not include people, animals, or carriages, the present map features a train entering the city form the southwest. Streets are labeled directly and important buildings are identified numerically via a key in the lower margin. The view identifies 5 churches, public schools, the County Jail and Courthouse, a soldier's monument, and the railroad station.

During the great age of American viewmaking only two views of New York City were produced, the presently offered view by Burleigh and a later view issued in 1901 by Hughes. Both are extremely rare. This present view, by Burleigh, is known in only two other examples, one housed at the Library of Congress, and a second in the archive of the Pennsylvania State University. The is the only example known in private hands.

Surprisingly good shirt for the price
Fit Type: Regular Fit, Color: White, Size: XX-Large
I’m generally pleased with my purchase. I got a 2XL because the website it would fit my neck. Around the waist it fit similar to Amazon Essentials work shirts (like mechanics use which I find comfortable). It was snug around the waist when sitting, but I can’t complain because I have a belly. I did find the neck snug when buttoning the top button so it means the neck is 18 or 18.5 and I wear a 19/19.5 to have 1-2 fingers space in the collar. The shirt is surprisingly thick like Amazon’s work shirts, much thicker than other dress shirts from another brand. And I am pleased that this shirt has button holes like other Amazon shirts does, all vertical button holes except the last one at the bottom which is horizontal. That feature keeps the shirt from unbuttoning itself during daily movement at the office. A very nice feature! I was a little disappointed in how it was packaged however but I have to press and wash it anyway.

Comparable to high end mens shops!
Fit Type: Regular Fit, Color: Blue, Size: Large
Beautiful, heavy blue Oxford comparable to upper end mens store at 75% less! Full cut, great for casual wear or sending out for professional starching. Downside, no pocket, but I had mine monogramed wear the pocket would be and it looks like an expensive dress shirt. I bought more (with pockets) in blue & white

Heavier fabric, very durable
Fit Type: Regular Fit, Color: Grey, Size: Large
3 stars. Pretty nice shirt but the fabric is a bit firmer than i like. I iron it when i usually wear it so that it looks half decent since wrinkle resistance is low or poor. I usually have to use a higher setting on the fabric since the material is thick making it alot heavier. Overall great for the lower end cost, anything that beats it would probably be double the price. I work in a cubicle so this works well for me, a simple shirt, with a simple color.
