Finally, lightweight and short cranks for kids with a narrow Q-factor and a 104bcd 4-bolt layout for chainrings from 30T to 42T. These HUP Kids Cranks are probably the most important component you will fit to your child's bike!

Get it wrong and they lose pedal power and risk injury from crank arms that are too long or wide. Get it right, and they will spend many happy hours in the saddle and maximise their little leg power!

Available in a variety of popular lengths to fit junior/youth riders from age 6 to 14 approx. Compatible with any JIS square-taper bottom bracket, they are cold-forged from 6061-T6 aluminium for strength, low weight and durability.

These cranks are perfect for Road Racing, Cyclocross, Triathlon, BMX or MTB with the appropriate bottom brackets and single chainring, which can be mounted inboard or outboard of the mounting flange to suit chainline requirements.

120mm: riders approx 110cm to 125cm tall
125mm: riders approx 115cm to 130cm tall
130mm: riders approx 120cm to 135cm tall
135mm: riders approx 125cm to 140cm tall
140mm: riders approx 130cm to 145cm tall
145mm: riders approx 135cm to 150cm tall
150mm: riders approx 140cm to 155cm tall
155mm: riders approx 145cm to 160cm tall

Top Tip: as with all our kids cranks, we always add helicopter tape to the face of the crank arms to protect from kids feet rubbing (especially without cleats) when the cleat position sets the shoes very close to the cranks. More install info here.

Easy but not strong
I would not put a lot of weight in the baskets though. I was changing one shelve to a differebt level and the hook just broke off. I was very gentle with this thing and never put a lot of weight on it, yet the hook came clean off and now I can't hang the shelf at that level. It either has to be too low (makes it difficult to hang clothing on the upper level coat hooks) or too high (makes it difficult to get items into the shelf because it is almost touching the top shelf). This over the door rack/shelf was so easy to install, pretty much a child could do it. Love how I can change which hook the shelves go onto and that their is two rows of coat hooks. Fantastic addition to any room that does not have an ideal amount of storage.
