Women's Probiotic 20 billion by NOW® contains three strains of probiotic bacteria that have been specially selected to support the health of women in a wide age range. This product contains L. Rhamnosus HN001 and L. Acidophilus La-14, which colonize the vagina and support the maintenance of normal vaginal pH during oral use. Both B. Lactis HN019 and HN001 strains may support the proper functioning of the immune system in pregnant and breastfeeding women. HN019 also supports the digestive tract and reduces occasional gases or bloating.
According to the WHO, probiotics are microorganisms that, when administered in appropriate doses, are beneficial to the body. The recommended daily dose of the product contains 20 billion active probiotic bacteria.
The identity of the probiotic strains in this product has been verified using "DNA fingerprinting" technology.
Ingredients: Bifidobacterium lactis (Bl-04), 4.5 x 1011 CFU/g; Lactobacillus acidophilus (La-14), 2.0 x 1011 CFU/g; Lactobacillus rhamnosus (Lr-32), 2.0 x 1011 CFU/g; capsule: cellulose; subst. filling: microcrystalline cellulose; subst. anti-caking: stearic acid, silicon oxide.
Use: 1 capsule. Do not exceed the recommended dose. After opening, store in the refrigerator to preserve its properties.

Kindle Version is HORRIBLE
Format: Kindle
I recently bought the Kindle Version, and although I love this book as a reference guide the publisher did not include indexing which does not allow a reader to search making it almost impossible and very time consuming to hunt down a term or entry. If you are considering buying the kindle version I would highly recommend purchasing the paperback version as it will be much easier to peruse the entries.
