It blends Space Age nostalgia with cutting-edge manufacturing, resulting in a chair that looks like it was plucked straight from a 1970s sci-fi film set in the future.The standout feature of the Nimrod is its monolithic shell. Newson utilized blow-moulding technology—a process typically reserved for industrial mass-production like plastic bottles—to create a seamless, hollow vessel. The shell is characterized by smooth, rounded edges and a complete absence of sharp corners. Its  white of the polyethylene shell acts as a perfect frame for the vibrant, plush cushions, creating a visual "pop" that defines the room. Marc Newson is one of the most influential designers of our time (the man behind the Apple Watch and the world-record-breaking Lockheed Lounge).
