The V1S v2 Sporty Comp Chassis is design to make your Axial Capra competition ready using your Capra (No DIG) or Delux Portal transmission, Shocks and Axles to create a light weight competition Sportsman Crawler. This chassis is intended to be used in Sportsman style Completion events (Shaft Driven, Non-MOA, No Dig). You will need to lock out the DIG on your Capra Transmission to use this chassis.

The chassis will be cut from 2.5mm Carbon Fiber. The chassis is designed to work in two configurations: 1) Frame Forward configuration. the chassis will sit forward of the center line on a 12.5in WB using custom links or the kit from In The Works RC. 2) The 50/50 Configuration will use standard Capra Links to configure your chassis at a 12.5WB. By shifting the Chassis forward, your weight bias will be easier to adjust without the need of excess weight.

You will need: Frame Forward - Custom Upper and Lower links, Modified (Shortened) Front drive Shaft, and Longer rear drive shaft, one Velcro strap to secure your battery. 50 / 50 - Capra Links, Axle, Shocks, drive shafts (modified) Transmission, Strap to secure battery.

Frame Forward Custom Link recommendation: Uppers Delrin strait, lower front Brass or Ti Strait or 5 degree mid bend, lower rear Ti 15 degree bend at rear 3rd)

Starting Point: This is not designed to be a belly dragger. To start turning, send ride height at the front of the skid to 80mm from the front and the rear of the skid at 83mm off the ground with a 5.5" Tire.

Due to the nature of 3D printing, items may contain tiny visual blemishes. Items may require some trimming and painting for optimal visual appeal/fit; similar to what you would expect to do with model parts.

 IMPORTANT: Do not use power drivers on 3D printed parts. Over tightening printed parts and cause premature cracking and crushing. Always ensure you hardware will not bottom out in the screw pocket. This can also cause at 3D printed part to break prematurely.

 Printed Parts - These parts will be printed in Black Carbon Fiber Infused Polycarbonate filament using advances slicing methods for maximum strength. All 3D printed parts come with a lifetime replacement guarantee. If you break a part, simply send us a photo and your order number. The photo is simply to evaluate for common issues and help identify potential improvements to existing designs.
