Owners with iDrive may see a fuel pump warning stating, "Continued driving is possible. Have the system checked by your BMW center as soon as possible." If your vehicle operates smoothly and shows no other symptoms, this warning can generally be ignored. For any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.
Additional Information
Keep in mind that upgraded pumps may draw more current. If your EKP (LPFP control module) is weak, it may overheat and shut down, potentially needing replacement. If this is a concern for you checkout our Stage 3 fuel pump upgrade kits that retain the stock LPFP and add a secondary pump.
