Resembling the paw of an animal, paw stool side table with brass inlay by Marcantonio, has the balance to be used with either side up as a seat or table!

For his debut creations, Marcantonio introduced “Vegetal Animal”, a concept that evokes strong emotions to represent Nature. What only began as an exclusive chair, turned into sculptural wonders that include everything from cabinets, chairs, sofas to rugs and lamps. The furniture borders on caricatures of animal and plant forms with solid glossy colours but he suggests an “elegant irony” with the use of brass, suede, premium wool, an chic colour palette and meticulous inlay work. A collection with mystery, humour, originality and functionality at the heart of each creation.

Care: Wipe gently with dry soft cloth. In case of spillage of water wipe immediately. A premium liquid wax may be used occasionally to refresh the high gloss.

Celebration of authenticity: Slight variations or imperfections are the marks of an artisan, a testament to the individuality, emotion and originality of each work of art.

After attending the Academy of Fine Arts, Marcantonio started creating unique design led pieces, enriching them with artistic concepts. His collection is a connection between Man and Nature, interpreting both the dynamics and beauty of them. "I never give up irony; irony is a serious matter. If a good idea is even fun, I cannot resist to realise it".

Ashish Bajoria and Suman Kanodia founded Scarlet Splendour in 2014. The siblings grew up in Kolkata, India with a deep sense of appreciation for the aesthetic. They combined their mutual passion for design to form Scarlet Splendour, with a view to integrate their maximalist sensibilities and become, possibly, the first design editors in India.
