The American Blade Works Slip Joint is a modern take on a traditional format. Michael Martin CNC-machines every component in-house at his Weaverville, North Carolina shop, including the titanium scales, the MagnaCut Wharncliffe blade, and the backspring. The result is a slip joint that carries the precision of a production knife and the intentionality of a custom. The 2.25" hollow ground Wharncliffe blade is heat-treated and cryogenically tempered for maximum edge retention, and the stonewash finish gives it a practical, hard-carry character. Phosphor bronze washers and a 416 stainless pivot deliver smooth, consistent pull strength. This version features the diamond milling pattern on the titanium scales. The intersecting cuts create a repeating geometric grip surface with visual depth and positive traction on the titanium scales.

Note from Lone Star Knife & Supply: The diamond pattern gives the ABW Slip Joint one of the most refined-looking handle textures in the lineup. Repeating geometry, positive traction, MagnaCut Wharncliffe, 2.2 oz. North Carolina made by one person who machines everything himself.

Can't wait for the next one!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
My 9 year old loved the story and illustrations. She is hooked on this series and was thrilled to discover the graphic novel. She liked that there are new things to discover from the original Whatever After version of the story. Even though they are minor it was fun for her to catch the details.

So good!
Format: Paperback
This whole series of regular books is clever and wonderful; laugh out loud funny and inspiring. I only wish there were more graphic novels. This is a great place to start though.

Cute graphic novel version of the original Whatever After novel
Format: Paperback
I read this book after my daughter read it for our mom/daughter book club. We've read several of the Whatever After novel series, but my daughter really enjoys graphic novels, so she was excited to see they are converting the novels into graphic novels. This was my first graphic novel. Fairest of All was cute and followed the storyline of the original novel pretty well, with the pretty illustrations depicting the parts that would normally be written as exposition/narrative. I liked when Abby was telling Snow about the fairy tale she stars in and it would show a cloth backdrop behind them. It's also fun to see how Abby and Jonah (brother and sister) will fix the stories they accidentally mess up.

"Snow White" with a twist!
Format: Paperback
It is such a laugh-out-loud, magical twist on the classic Snow White story that leaves you hooked! It is filled with hilarious moments, such as Abby and her little brother Jonah accidentally crashing into Snow White’s fairy tale through a magic mirror and their hilarious attempts to fix things, which turn the story upside down in the best way. The writing is clever, fast-paced, and filled with quirky humor, making every page a joy. Once you start, you won’t want to stop!
