High-quality real wood veneers, packaged in a convenient size that won't break your budget! Each pack contains 3 square feet of unbacked veneer that ranges in size from 4-1/2" to 6-1/2" in width by 12" in length. Generally maple, but could be birch or any other domestic white wood. Just the right size for marquetry, inlay repair, accents on furniture and any other small job around the shop. We've used these dyed veneers when making inlays for musical instruments and for color accents in children's toys. The wild color assortment varies based by package, but generally includes colors like pink, purple, orange, and grey.Due to the nature of wood movement, shrinkage and expansion are possible. Please measure each piece carefully before starting any project.Wood is a product of nature, and as such, no two pieces are alike to start with, while the same wood growing in different locales can vary greatly even though it is the exact same species.Thin Stock. The thin stock is cut to size from quality, kiln-dried stock. Dimensions are +/- 1/8" of size listed.Carving and Turning Blocks. Blocks are sawn to +/- ¼" of size listed.Plywood. Sizes are nominal.
