The 2020 Unravelled has an impressive nose with notes of raspberry jam and black doris plum. Grown in Carrick Towan and Cairnmuir Terraces vineyards, Bannockburn, Central Otago. The vineyard is tended by hand, allowing for careful management of individual vines, throughout the season.

Each parcel is hand-harvested, destemmed, and undergoes a wild fermentation, in tank, before being pressed and barreled down. Care is taken to monitor and adjust cap management to the unique conditions of each ferment. Matured in barrel for 10 months, 13% new oak.

Carrick Unravelled is their early drinking offering for Pinot Noir lovers. The name references the Carrick Bend their symbol of the people and land, here it is a metaphor for the more relaxed style of this wine.
