« White man’s town… Black man’s law» Boss Nigger is a movie, starring Blaxploitation star Fred Williamson, telling the story of two black bounty hunters (Boss and Amos) who become sheriffs of a small town in the Far West. They ensure a series of “Black laws”, like jail for anyone who calls any black man a nigger before defending the town against a violent gang. This cult classic was a success because it managed to make the audience identify with the outsiders, two black men struggling against the rules of White America and going against all odds during the whole movie.
