Ensure the sternum strap is tight at the chest line, at least 4 inches below the neck, and regularly inspect all harness components for wear or damage. Replace the harness no later than two years from the date on the SFI tag or purchase. Please note, this 4-point harness is intended exclusively for off-road vehicles and is not a replacement for FMVSS 209 restraints. It should never be used with child car seats or boosters.
