Visconti has introduced a new color—Cobalt—to the Torpedo collection, with a design inspired by futuristic ideals and a need for speed. For this newest addition, Visconti sourced 'cobalt blue' unidirectional carbon graphite, a material commonly used in the automotive sector, for the body, and added trims in rose gold plating.

The Torpedo's ogival shape with a rounded and tapered end makes it powerful and aerodynamic, combining two stylistic components of Visconti's high end pens: a demonstrator and a skeleton body. Surrounding the carbon graphite of the barrel is a light metal 'skeleton' that surrounds two transparent openings which allow you to see the internal filing system and the ink. The transparent acrylic resin of the demonstrator windows has been worked in such a way as to be aligned with the carbon fiber—not sunken in—thus contributing to the fluidity of the design.
