Project Codeword: Vessels and OrbsFrom the L & L Underground Research Facility
These experiments push the envelope of existing Cups and Balls technology far beyond its normal limits. The goal for this project is more repeatability, more shock, and more practicality. We believe these goals have been realized in the Vessels and Orbs Project. What's more, you'll be privy to new and innovative strategies, subtleties and moves never before seen, including the Tweezers Palm, Al Schneider's new and devilishly deceptive small ball vanish. Many of magic's greatest minds have been taken in by this move.
Today's tendency is for magicians to walk around more and to stand at a table side when performing. Several of these routines were specifically designed to do that. The others were created for more formal, full-feature Cups and Balls performances.
Here's what's contained in this confidential file:
LA Street Cups - The mandate here is to simply be able to pick up the cups and go. There are no loads from the body which means that this routine can be done in your birthday suit if you wish (though not recommended!) Then, you can repeat the routine immediately in tough, real-world environments...and fool them again! This is the perfect routine for strolling magicians and street performers and remains one of the most talked-about routines from the Al Schneider Magic book.
Classic Cups and Balls - This is a formal sit-down routine with a fairly traditional presentation of three cups, three balls, and three final loads. However, a lot of sophistication is thrown in. The small ball sequences are superb and the final loads are strong enough that the entire routine can be immediately performed again...and it will still kill them!
OMG - This is what people exclaim when they watch this! This one-cup routine was developed for the table hopper. Carry the cup in a bag and stand by the table to do this routine. Its two phases were designed to generate the OMG response. And there are no body or pocket steals - it's all in the hands, bag, and cup.
Crystal Connection - This experiment features a three-cup formal routine with as much flash as can be put into the finish of a Cups and Balls routine. At its conclusion, two cups are lifted to reveal they are full of crystal shards. The audience won't know what hit them!
Oriental Bowl Routine - This was developed as a very formal full-feature routine. The goal was to capture the feeling and atmosphere of Japanese tea ceremonies and contains wooden bowls, large sponge balls, silks, and much pomp and flair! This could easily be used as a full stage routine!
3X4 Bowl Routine - The goal of this experiment was to take single bowl routines not only to the next level but to the extreme. The name of the game is rapid repetition featuring just about every effect possible with sponge balls. They disappear, reappear, penetrate up and down...and they do it extremely fast. There are fourteen...yes, fourteen...separate magical occurrences in this one routine.
Running Time Approximately: 1hr 40min

Genuinely bummed that these great balls can’t stand up against my Chloè.
Size: Medium
I love all the Chuckit brand of balls. I found that the Strabo and glow balls in the Chuckit line are the softest, and as such, don't last as long as the rest of Chuckit line of balls. Having said that, they do last longer than than every other brand I've tried (and I do believe I’ve tried every brand available on the market today.)
The strato balls do bounce higher than any of the other balls in the Chuckit line. They really are a good value.

Great dog balls at a great price
Size: Medium
The balls are a favorite for my dog. I could have done without the hole through the middle because I don't do treats in balls anyway. My dog loves balls for their own merit. I needed replacement balls for my Nerf Dog Ball launcher. It seems the originals have disappeared from the market. I took a chance because the price is right and this Chuck-it ball works very well so we're liking this ball a lot. So far my Dachsund, who can destroy a tennis ball (the kind they are selling as Nerf Dog replacements) in 3 minutes has not done any damage to this one so that's a win. I recommend this as a much better ball than the fuzzy tennis balls. I like the colors too since many dog toys are green (which gets lost in the lawn, etc.) or red (even though dogs have red/green color blindness. Blue and orange are good and pretty easy to find. I liked these well enough that this set was my second purchase so I will have spares in case the others are lost.

My Baby loves his new baby!
Size: Medium, Size: Medium
Finally! A ball my 107 lb. pitty/pointer mix can’t destroy. He has torn up every single “indestructible” toy in a day or so until now. He peels fabric and fur off non-rubber toys. He is a 4-legged shredder. I’ve added pictures of him for a size reference of my dog versus this product. I know I had wanted that when shopping for this item.
This ball is now his beloved “baby.” He goes absolutely insane looking for it, chewing it, chasing it, and even sleeping with it. He won’t rest unless he knows exactly where it is. It is his only toy, and he is good with that. After getting this home, I tried giving him other choices, but he won’t touch them.
I was worried that he would rip it apart by putting his teeth in the holes, but so far, not a scratch. It is soft enough to collapse just enough to keep it from cracking when his jaws crush it but not so soft that he can rip it to sheds. The holes are large enough to prevent a suction or vacuum effect on his tongue or mouth. For his size jaws, it is a perfect fit. Other dogs might have problems with suction or be able to get their teeth in those holes and rip it apart. Who knows?
The older version of the Chuckit squeaky ball was his favorite for the year and a half he had it, but the way they make them now, he peels off the orange triangle in hours flat, the squeaker falls out (choking hazard), and then he rips it apart.
I’m going to stock up on these. I can’t imagine how crazy he will be if they ever stop production or change the materials.

Our German Sheppard loves these
Size: Medium
These cost a bit more than tennis balls, but they are so much nicer and longer lasting. For starters, they stay cleaner than tennis balls because they’re smooth rubber. Dirt won’t build up on them and if anything does stick, like grass or soil, it falls off once the dog slobber dries. They’re also thick, so they don’t fall apart or blow out like a normal tennis ball does in our dog’s jaws after 30 seconds. Our GS chomps on these like crazy and the only damage they’ve suffered is a crack that developed from the edge of the hole, but the crack is growing very slowly and none of these balls have totally failed yet. The balls do whistle when thrown ant high speed and that may help a dog track and locate it, but I’m not sure. Our neighbors hear the whistling too so it’s far from silent. Lastly the orange ball is easy to locate out in our yard, but the dark blue practically disappears.

Great for smaller dogs
Size: Small
These two balls are perfect for the smaller mouthed dog that loves to play fetch.
These balls are not only super durable (lots of teeth biting), but float in the baby pool we use for our miniature dachshunds.
The value here is much better than you’d find anywhere else. The noise, if bitten hard enough, was “low” at best. Easy to spot/find if overthrown. Will definitely buy again once these are in bad repair; so far, so good-love these for my fur babies!
