How It Works
Anytime the sensor detects movement, it sends a signal to your wireless device or Z-Wave controller to trigger other network components.
The sensitivity of the motion sensor is fully adjustable, allowing pet owners to tweak the unit for best performance without false positives. The unit has a range of 10 meters and a sensor angle view of 90° (horizontal).

Installation
The Motion Sensor is battery powered and needs no wires to operate. It can be wall mounted or simply placed on any flat surface. For best performance, mount the unit flush against a wall at a height of 6-8 feet. It is not necessary to point the sensor downward.
An exposed side-mounted button allows for easy testing and installation. The default 10-minute set-up cycle gives you plenty of time to configure the unit.
The sensor also monitors its own battery. Use this feature with a Vera controller to trigger an e-mail alert if the battery drops below a certain point (as defined by you). Battery lifetime typically exceeds one year depending on the operating modes programmed.
