COURSE OVERVIEW:

Welcome to the Workplace Anger Management Techniques course. This program has been designed to equip you with a practical understanding of anger, its psychological and physical components, its impact on individuals and organisations, and the strategies required to manage anger constructively in professional environments. You will explore the reasons anger arises at work, how unmanaged anger affects performance and relationships, and the structured processes for addressing anger in yourself, in others and across teams. This course also examines leadership responsibilities, organisational practices and cultural expectations that contribute to a healthier, more respectful workplace.

This course begins by examining what anger is, the key to anger management and the reasons anger occurs in the workplace. You will explore how to face the challenge of workplace anger, the costs associated with unmanaged anger, and the impact anger has on the person experiencing it. This section also examines the immediate emotional components of anger, the physical components that accompany anger, and the results that follow when anger is expressed or suppressed. You will explore the impact of anger on the work group and organisation, the consequences of anger on team dynamics, and the benefits of anger when channelled appropriately. This section also highlights the positive side of anger and how it can signal unmet needs, organisational issues or opportunities for improvement.

The next learning area focuses on recognising and diagnosing anger. You will explore how to diagnose anger, how to identify over-expression and under-expression and when anger escalates into aggression. This section also examines the three common anger syndromes, how to focus on the source of anger and the underlying causes of anger in the workplace. You will explore the six-step process for managing your own anger and how structured self-management techniques reduce reactivity, improve communication and support emotional control.

A further learning area examines practical strategies for dealing with angry individuals. You will explore the five-step process for managing an angry individual, including de-escalation, active listening, boundary setting and problem solving. This section also examines how to deal with anger at team or organisational level, how to get people focused after conflict and how to clarify mission, roles and goals to reduce confusion and frustration. You will explore how to establish ground rules for conduct, keep communication lines open and support a culture in which concerns are addressed respectfully.

Another learning area focuses on organisational practices that prevent anger from escalating into conflict or aggression. You will explore best practices for organisational anger management, how to establish clear expectations for workplace behaviour and why leaders and managers must model appropriate behaviour consistently. This section also examines why individuals who fail to manage their own anger should not be selected or promoted into leadership roles, and how early intervention prevents dangerous anger from harming people or organisational culture.

The final learning area focuses on building a supportive framework for workplace wellbeing. You will explore how to provide resources for anger management, such as training, counselling, conflict resolution tools and support services. This section reinforces the importance of confronting dangerous anger early, enabling leaders, HR professionals and teams to protect psychological safety and encourage healthier emotional expression throughout the workplace.

By the end of this course you will be able to understand what anger is, recognise its emotional and physical components, identify workplace triggers, apply structured processes to manage anger in yourself and others, support organisational strategies that reduce conflict, establish behavioural expectations and contribute to a respectful, productive and emotionally healthy work environment.

Durable. Squeak doesn't last forever with my aggressive chewers but crinkle does. Best balls.

Balls

My dog loves chasing these balls. He seems to love the squeak! They fit the chuck it stick perfectly, and are great replacements for the originals that came with the stick.

Nice set of balls

The squeaker quickly became my dog’s favorite ball and has replaced the fuzzy tennis balls. My dog is a nonstop fetcher and these chuck it balls are durable and fun.

The orange and blue ball is perfect. Once start taken because the because the blue noisy one was a little to easy for my dog to start ripping pieces off. Will say most toys do not survive his chewing.
