From beach, rocks or pier, casting into the ‘surf’ always requires power. Harnessing the best performance from HVF and X45 ensures that these Saltist rods not only have that power but the torque busting resistance of X45 ensures you get the maximum return form effort.
Six models are offered from a 10’ Spin up to a 14’2” Multiplier edition.
For hitting plugs and lure the 10’ spinning model with handle 14-6g lure range with ease. Where estuary work calls for a lighter bait set up the 11’6” Bass/Spin model will accommodate just fine. Designed to handle up to 84g (3ozs) comfortably.
The ‘Surf choice starts with a 12’6” multiplier, followed by a 13’6” and bigger 14’2”. All host a sliding Fuji DPS reel seat and are rated at 100g to 200g.
For fixed spool the 14’ model is a three section assembly with a fixed Fuji DPS seat and operates best at 84g to 150g (5oz+) casting weight.
