However, rather than make everything from teak wood, S.T. Dupont developed a special lacquer that allows for digital printing to create a wood-like texture. The collection exemplifies the exquisite lacquering and goldsmith know-how of S.T. Dupont, with this teak wood inspired design, and unique design elements not found anywhere else.

The Seven Seas Collection features fine palladium detailing, from hubolts and chandlery to coils of the ship’s rope, set against the meticulously-finished wood grain natural lacquer. The collection also pays tribute to the early days of the Maison S.T. Dupont when master artisans created exquisite trunks and travel cases, often monogrammed, for the world’s elite who travelled by boats and ships.

Limited to just 299 pieces, this writing kit features a fountain pen which sports a 14K gold, M nib, as well as a rollerball attachment. It arrives in a veneered wooden box with a stainless steel letter opener and genuine oak wood boat stand.
