A truly wide-angle prime characterized by its advanced optical design and unique physical attributes, the Batis 18mm f/2.8 Lens from Zeiss is designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. The innovative design of this lens features an OLED display that highlights the focus distance and depth of field range for quickly recognizing your focusing parameters, and autofocus is handled by linear motors that maintain quick, quiet, and smooth performance. In regard to optics, the lens employs a Distagon concept with a floating elements design that maintains consistent sharpness and illumination throughout the focusing range, and a series of aspherical and special glass elements help to control both chromatic and spherical aberrations. A Zeiss T* anti-reflective coating has also been applied to individual elements in order to suppress flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color fidelity, and the lens also sports a dust- and moisture-sealed design to permit its use in trying environments. Well-suited to interior, architectural, and astrophotography applications, the Batis 18mm f/2.8 blends its extremely wide 99° angle of view with a high degree of functionality.
- A versatile wide-angle prime, this 18mm lens is designed specifically for full-frame E-mount mirrorless digital cameras, however can also be used on APS-C models where it will provide a 27mm equivalent focal length.
- Maximum f/2.8 aperture is suitable for working in difficult and low-light conditions.
- Distagon optical concept incorporates 11 elements within 10 groups, and also employs a floating elements design to maintain consistent image quality throughout the focusing range.
- Two aspherical elements, five elements made from special glass, and a pair of aspherical elements also made from special glass are featured, and all contribute to significantly reducing chromatic and spherical aberrations for improved clarity, sharpness, and resolution.
- Zeiss T* anti-reflective coatings have been applied to each lens surface to help minimize reflections in order to provide greater image clarity, contrast, and color fidelity.
- Integrated OLED display on the top of the lens shows the distance of the focal plane from the camera as well as the depth of field range for quickly recognizing the parameters of focus in use, even when working in low-light conditions.
- Linear motors benefit the autofocus performance of the lens and provide smooth, fast, and quiet operation. For manual focusing, a rubberized ring offers greater tactile control for precise placement of focus.

This is one “under the radar” gem!!

This is one “under the radar” gem!! Very strong internal squeaker and way tougher than it looks. My big 125lb Shepard-Husky mix gave it heck, then made it his new buddy. He’ll occasionally give it the business but on the whole, it’s surprisingly tough and my big boy loves it. Nice price!!

My Puppy Loves this Indestructible Dragon

My puppy (8 month old black lab mix) loves, loves, loves her dragon. She has had it for 2 months now. It is one of her favorites and gets daily rough play time. It's her go-to toy for fetch and tug games, as well as just general mouthy play. The squeaker gave out after about 4 weeks, but she would binge squeak for prolonged periods (kind of like chomping on gum) so it was almost a blessing when it went silent. She still chomps on it, but at least now I don't have to hear it. Other than the fact that it's a little grungy and bedraggled from so much loving, it is still in amazing shape. The seams and fur are all still intact. There are no visible holes, rips, or weak spots. I love Chew Guard Technology.
This dragon replaced her goDog Iguana (from PetSmart) that developed a tear in the fur after about 4 months of heavy use. (It was superficial, just the outer fur layer and not the innards, but we disposed of it before she could eat more fur.) She can be pretty rough on her toys and I can never predict if any given toy will last minutes or months. The goDog stuffies definitely fall into the "months" category, even with rough daily use.
Edit: The dragon lasted about 6 months of intensive, hard play before it developed a small tear in the fur. I patched it a couple times, but once my pup discovers a weak spot, it's the kiss of death for any stuffed item. We had to dispose of the dragon (so sad) to keep her from eating any more of the fur. We replaced the dragon with the goDog Chameleon, which is still going strong. I think we will go back to the dragon for our next toy because it's just so darned cute. We gave the dragon to my niece for her golden retriever puppy who is very chew-happy. That dragon is also doing well. You've just gotta love that chew-guard technology. This is one tough toy.

Indestructible Toys My Dobermans ❤️

Actually Respect! goDog Is a Lifesaver
The variety of size and colors are phenomenal 😇
I have two Dobermans — serious, determined power chewers — and I’ve spent years trying to find toys that survive even a few days.
I’ve tried the big brands (Kong, Goughnuts, Jolly Ball, you name it) — and while some toys last a little while, almost everything eventually ends up shredded, de-squeaked, or in pieces.
goDog toys are the ONLY plush toys my Dobermans won’t destroy.
We own multiple goDog toys now — dragons, dinosaurs, lizards — mostly in the large size (perfect for Dobermans), but even a few medium-sized ones hold up surprisingly well.
Here’s what’s amazing:
• They love them — actually carry them around, toss them, chew them gently, and squeak them happily.
• They do not rip them apart — no matter how much tugging, chewing, or wrestling happens.
• Large sizes are best for Dobermans (and other big breeds) — but even mediums survive for calmer play sessions.
• No ripped seams, no stuffing everywhere, and no destroyed squeakers after months of use.
