Laurent- Perrier Brut Millesime 2006 (France)A light yellow with delicate beading in the glass. A delicate, subtle nose with aromas of fresh pineapple, dried apricots and almonds. A very pleasant, rounded attack, followed by a marked sense of balance, with a lively nish offering hints of white peach and mirabelle. A light yellow with delicate beading in the glass. A delicate, subtle nose with aromas of fresh pineapple, dried apricots and almonds. A very pleasant, rounded attack, followed by a marked sense of balance, with a lively finish offering hints of white peach and mirabelle.

The wine-growing year began with a cold winter, but not so cold as to damage the vines. Spring was generally mild with very few frosts, except in early April. Rainfall was normal. Summer was a time of contrasts, with a heatwave and very patchy rainfall in July, while August brought frequent storms, followed by cool, overcast weather and unusually high rainfall. Severe episodes of hail affected 4,750 hectares in 71 municipalities. The grapes were harvested between 7th and 25th September, depending on the sector. Ripeness levels in an abundant harvest were satisfactory, if uneven.

Composed of Chardonnay 50%, Pinot Noir 50%.

Laurent-Perrier is selective when declaring vintages – rarely declaring them and only in the very best years with a unique character. Thus the BRUT MILLÉSIMÉ (Vintage Brut) is an exceptional wine and while it maintains the signature style of the House’s wines, it refl ects the unique characteristics of the vintage year.

Laurent-Perrier’s millésimes have excellent ageing capacity.

Passion, creative boldness, free spirit and elegance through simplicity are the founding values of the House. At Laurent-Perrier, passion guides the hand. An unrivalled creator of style and emotions since 1812, Laurent-Perrier suits every occasion and offers a unique experience for all senses through its innovative and comprehensive range of champagnes.

In 1881, when Cellar Master Eugène Laurent inherited the Alphonse PierlotChampagne House. The picturesque village where the House is situated is ideally situated at the crossroads of the three main wine growing areas of the Marne département. It is also part of the 17 Champagne villages ranking in the prestigious ‘Grand Cru’ area.

Food Pairing: The Brut Millésimé 2006 pairs harmoniously with fish in sauce, while its roundness and delicacy will prolong your tasting pleasure in the company of poultry or other white meats. Recommended serving temperature is between 9°C and 11°C.

Don't waste money on this one
Ordered in January 2026. Worked good the first few times. Now it just rotates around and around the can but doesn't cut anything. I'm so disappointed because it failed shortly after my return window closed.

Easy to use! No more hand cranking.
If you like the ease of an electric can opener, but don’t have room to store it or don’t want to drag it out when you need to use it, this is for you. I like a handheld can opener, but would get so frustrated trying to use it and turn the handle. This can opener is amazing and so easy to use. Just attach to can and push a button. It starts turning on its own and when it is done it stops. You lift it up and the lid comes off cleanly. It is rechargeable so need to worry about batteries. It tucks away in a drawer nicely. I bought my mom one too. She has arthritis in her hands so thought this would be perfect for her.

Smooth edges better than twisting
Works a lot better than the crank style and the counter top electric and you can use the lid to reseal the can if you don't use the whole thing.

Worked for only 4 months. Now produces metal shards. Dangerous
Pros: Can be used with one hand. I bought this to have after surgery that left me without use of one arm for a few months. The light blinks when you need to charge it. Only needs a 2-3 min charge for enough juice to open a can. Cons: IT QUIT CUTTING CORRECTLY AFTER 4 MONTHS. I now have to use both hands to hold it in place to get it to latch on to the can. It also requires a few rotations around the top to cut through the seal, resulting in METAL SHARDS! The metal shards are super sharp and almost invisible. I stabbed myself with one enough to draw blood. This is dangerous as the metal could fall into the food when pouring from the can.
