Plain red meat dishes, and soft cheese.
Vinification
Total destemming, prolonged skin maceration, alcoholic fermentation at 26º and 12 months aging in French oak barrels 30% new barrel and 70% second barrel.
Vineyards
The vineyards are located at the heart of Bairrada, in Anadia, between the Caramulo and Buçaco mountains at an elevation of about 50 meters above the sea level. The older vineyards were planted in 1972, followed by new plantations in 1999.
