The camera features a mechanical filter that allows it to capture images in mono with illumination as low as 0.0008 lux and in color up to 0.0069 lux. - Content Based Imaging Technology
- CBIT (Content Based Imaging Technology) is used to improve image quality in all lighting conditions and identify areas for enhanced processing. The camera examines the scene using Essential Video Analytics and provides feedback to re-tune image processing. This provides better detail in the areas that matter and better all-round performance. Essential Video Analytics technology, for example, allows you to view moving objects in bright and dark areas of a scene.
- Intelligent Video Analytics
- The built-in video analysis reinforces the Intelligence-at-the-Edge concept and now delivers even more powerful features. Essential Video Analytics is suitable for use in controlled environments with limited detection ranges. The system detects, tracks, and analyzes objects, and alerts you when predefined alarms are triggered. A smart set of alarm rules reduces false alarms. Metadata is attached to your video to add sense and structure. This enables you to quickly retrieve the relevant images from hours of stored video. Metadata can also be used to deliver forensic evidence and to optimize business processes based on people counting or crowd density information. Just enter the height of the camera and the internal gyro/accelerometer sensor provides the rest of the information to precisely calibrate the video analytics.
- Intelligent Dynamic Noise Reduction
- The camera uses Intelligent Dynamic Noise Reduction which actively analyzes the contents of a scene and reduces noise artifacts accordingly, reducing bandwidth and storage by up to 50% compared to other H.264 cameras.
- Area-Based Encoding
- Area-based encoding is another feature which reduces bandwidth. Compression parameters for up to eight user-definable regions can be set. This allows uninteresting regions to be highly compressed, leaving more bandwidth for important parts of the scene.
- Multiple Streams
- The innovative multi-streaming feature delivers various H.264 streams together with an MJPEG stream. These streams facilitate bandwidth-efficient viewing and recording as well as integration with third-party video management systems. Depending on the resolution and frame rate selected for the first stream, the second stream provides a copy of the first stream or a lower resolution stream. The third stream uses the I-frames of the first stream for recording; the fourth stream shows a JPEG image at a maximum of 10 Mbit/s.
- Regions of Interest and E-PTZ
- Regions of Interest (ROI) can be user defined. The remote E-PTZ (Electronic Pan, Tilt and Zoom) controls allow you to select specific areas of the parent image. These regions produce separate streams for remote viewing and recording. These streams, together with the main stream, allow the operator to separately monitor the most interesting part of a scene while still retaining situational awareness. Intelligent Tracking can follow objects within the defined regions of interest. Intelligent Tracking can autonomously detect and track moving objects or the user can click on an object which the tracker will then follow.
- Storage Management
- Recording management can be controlled by the Bosch Video Recording Manager (VRM) or the camera can use iSCSI targets directly without any recording software.
- Edge Recording
- Insert a memory card into the card slot to store up to 2TB of local alarm recording. Pre-alarm recording in RAM reduces recording bandwidth on the network, and extends the effective life of the memory card.
- Cloud-Based Services
- The camera supports time-based or alarm-based JPEG posting to four different accounts. These accounts can address FTP servers or cloud-based storage facilities (for example, Dropbox). Video clips or JPEG image scan also be exported to these accounts. Alarms can be set up to trigger an email or SMS notification so you are always aware of abnormal events.
- Simplified Installation
- Power for the camera can be supplied via a Power-over-Ethernet-compliant network cable connection. With this configuration, only a single cable connection is required to view, power, and control the camera. Using PoE makes installation easier and more cost effective, as cameras do not require a local power source. The camera can also be supplied with power from 12 VDC power supplies. To increase system reliability, the camera can be simultaneously connected to both PoE and 12 VDC supplies. If one power source fails, the other source takes over without a reboot, providing power redundancy.
- Automatic Image Rotation
- The integrated gyro/accelerometer sensor automatically corrects image orientation in steps of 90� if the camera is mounted at right angles or upside down. The sensor image can also be rotated manually through steps of 90�. To capture details in long hallways without loss of resolution, mount the camera at right angles. The image is displayed upright at full resolution on your monitor.
- Scene Modes
- Nine configurable modes are provided with the best settings for a variety of applications. Different scene modes can be selected for day or night situations.
- Hybrid Operation
- A surge-protected analog video output allows full hybrid operation. This means that high resolution IP video streaming and an analog video output are available simultaneously. The hybrid functionality offers an easy migration path from legacy CCTV to a modern IP-based system.
- True Day/Night Switching
- The camera is a true day/night camera with a mechanical filter for daytime and night-time imaging while maintaining sharp focus under all lighting conditions. The filter can be switched remotely or automatically via a light level sensor or contact input.
- Data Security
- Three-level password protection with security recommendations allows users to customize device access. Web browser access can be protected using HTTPS and firmware updates can also be protected with authenticated secure uploads. The on-board Trusted Platform Module (TPM) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) support, are intended to provide superior protection from malicious attacks. The 802.1x network authentication with EAP/TLS, supports TLS 1.2 with updated cipher suites including AES 256 encryption.
- Video Security App
- The app is designed to give you complete control of all your cameras, from panning and tilting to zoom and focus functions. It's like taking your control room with you. This app, together with the separately available Bosch transcoder, will allow you to fully utilize our dynamic transcoding features so you can play back images even over low-bandwidth connections.
- System Integration
- The camera conforms to the ONVIF Profile S, ONVIF Profile Q, and ONVIF Profile G specifications. Compliance with these standards provides interoperability between network video products regardless of manufacturer. Third-party integrators can access the internal feature set of the camera for integration into large projects. I hated giving this a 1 star, because it was so cute when I unpacked it today. I just gave it to my dog and in less than two minutes he has a hole ripped in it.! he loves it so I don't wanna take it away from him, but I'm sure it's going to be gone in another few minutes. Why can't someone make a stuffed animal for a dog that lasts like they say so on their listing? I really should take it away from him and send it back, but I don't have the heart.
I had to come back and give this a better review. it deserves at least four stars because even though he ripped holes in it, this one has lasted way longer than any other toy. He's actually still playing with it, and it still has some crinkle left to it so he didn't destroy the whole thing as quickly as he did other stuffed animals. I will certainly buy another one because at least it lasted a week so far!

A really cute little elephant. My lab loved it and carried it around for a week. Then the elephant began losing body parts. Both legs are gone now plus the big squeaker. Lab still likes the elephant and carries it around. Its loosing stuffing and the real question is what body part is next. Its nice but not tough.

Still in one piece and played with!

Very durable for my little King Charles Chewer. She's had it for a while now and all though the chewing phase has calmed down, she still can be somewhat rough with the toys. The little dino is standing firm. It was a battle she figured she couldn't win with Dino. Now he's a fetch/ tug o war toy that still gets a few nibbles.

DONT BUY THE ELEPHANT, ITS NO GOOD. but GR8 BRAND!

The elephant toy had no trunk by the FIRST day! The elephant now looks like an angry Koala bear OR an angry trunk less elephant(whichever u want to say) I LOVE the donkey and dinosaur toys so I bought the elephant confidently, thinking I had nothing to worry about. I wouldn't have spent money on this knowing the trunk would be chewed off in a matter of minutes. My Bella usually chews but she has had her donkey and dinosaurs with the chew guard for MONTHS and there are NO TEARS OR RIPS even with her playing and chewing on them ROUGHLY all day. If you buy any of these type toys I DO highly recommend the donkey or dinosaurs ONLY. The elephant being chewed up in a matter of minutes really makes me angry that I ever spent the money on it. HAD I known it wouldn't be the high quality dog toy I'm used to from GoDog, I would've just bought a second donkey or dino! Now Bella doesn't get her new toy for the month (I try 2 buy her a new stuffed toy or 2 about 1 time a month whenever I have the extra money for it) I guess she will have to go without this month because I spent it on this now trunkless elephant/angry koala:( Whichever name you call it, it is now going to be trash.
UPDATE!
If you contact the GODOG company they will send one replacement toy for your pet! They also asked me my pet's size, breed and age in order to send the best possible toy! They sent Bella a snake that has held up Extremely WELL! It's great and so far is my favorite(and one of Bella's favorites) The snake has less sqeaky things in it so she doesn't have the drsire to tear it apart immediately to retrieve them by rippong it to shreds:) My updated rating is for the MANUFACTURER'S GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. The fact that they actually replaced it was good but the fact that they went that extra mile by researching the best toy match for my Bella was above and beyond! If you have a Godog toy that went bust right away, contact the manufacturer for a replacement. If you give them your dog's age, weight and breed they will even try to match your pets replacement toy with something that is better suited to your dog's chewing style. (Bella's style is destructive haha)
