Honest Notes
Sizing is by weight, not breed. Two dogs of the same breed can differ significantly — please weigh your dog before ordering. If your dog is between sizes and has a deep chest, size up.
Not suitable for pullers over 11kg. This harness is designed for comfort on small dogs — it's not a no-pull training harness for strong or large breeds.
The mesh is not waterproof. It dries quickly after a wet walk, but if you're walking in heavy rain you may want to towel-dry before putting it away.
Hand wash recommended. The harness is not machine washable. A damp cloth or quick hand rinse keeps it clean without affecting the velcro or reflective strips.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know which size to order?
Go by your dog's current weight — not their breed or age. Weigh them at home or ask your vet. If they're right on the boundary between two sizes and have a broad or deep chest, choose the larger size. The sizing guide in the specs table above covers typical breeds per size.
Can my puppy wear this?
Yes — puppies from around 0.5kg upwards can use the XXS. Because puppies grow quickly, check the fit every few weeks and move up a size as needed. The adjustable velcro gives a bit of room as they grow but it's not a substitute for the right size band.
Is this harness escape-proof?
The dual fastening (velcro body wrap + bone-clip chest closure) makes it significantly harder to back out of than a single-clip harness. That said, no harness is 100% escape-proof for every dog. For known escape artists, make sure the velcro is fastened firmly and the size fits snugly — not so tight it restricts breathing, but close enough that there's no slack to wriggle through.
How do I clean the harness?
Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and air dry — don't tumble dry as heat can affect the velcro and reflective strips. For light mud, a damp cloth is usually enough.
