Ingo Maurer is a company based in Milan that has spent the last 25 years perfecting the balance between functionality and artistry. Schmid created this lamp in 2009 as a way to explore the interaction between shapes, light and metal. The 24 Karat Blau Wall Lamp is an unconventional lamp for spaces that require cosy, sensual light.

Made from four paper-thin gold-leaf plates that allow soft reflected light to bounce around your space, the lamp has a colour and shape that is perfectly contrasted with the red wall mount. The lamp itself measures 38cm in length and is 30cm wide, with a 250cm cable so it can be installed at the perfect height for your needs. Gaps in the plates allow them to be affixed in different angled combinations with the included rods. Perfect for high-end interiors, the extravagant 24 Karat Blau Wall Lamp is the ideal addition to private spaces such as bedrooms, living areas and reading corners.
