We shattered our targets and have built a reel for casting which all others will be measured by.
All the latest Shimano technologies are included. Ultralightweight cold-forged aluminum Magnumlite® spool and one-piece sideplates both feature Electronic Ionization (EI) surface treatment and chrome-plated screws for the kind of extreme corrosion protection you need in saltwater. Eight Shielded A-RB® bearings ensure super-smooth performance. Lightweight spool benefits from the Super Free (SF®) system, encouraging ultraslick freespool. Reel is rated for monofilament, fluorocarbon and PowerPro® braided lines. High Efficiency Gearing (HEG®) and X-Ship gear support system increases efficiency power and overall smoothness.
