Brown Jack (1924–1948) was a Thoroughbred racehorse that raced over hurdles and then on the flat. He was a "stayer" – a horse specialising in longer races. He won the second Cheltenham Champion Hurdle in 1928, but his main claim to fame was winning the Queen Alexandra Stakes – the longest race in the flat racing calendar – for six years running, from 1929 to 1934. His repeated victories made him one of the most popular racehorses in the history of British racing. A bronze statue of Brown Jack, by the equestrian painter Sir Alfred Munnings, is to be seen at Ascot.

Brown Jack was a brown gelding, foaled in Ireland by Jackdaw out of Querquidella. He was bought as a 3 year old by Sir Harold Wernher, Bt. and trained by Aubrey Hastings to race over hurdles. After Hastings' death in 1929, he was trained by former jockey Ivor Anthony (brother of Jack Anthony and Owen Anthony). In 1928, as a 4-year-old in his first season, he won seven races from ten starts, including the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham in 1928 ridden by Bilbie Rees, but then switched to the more lucrative racing on the flat.

He won the Ascot Stakes in 1928, and the 2.75-mile Queen Alexandra Stakes for six years running, from 1929 to 1934, each time ridden by veteran Champion Jockey Steve Donoghue. He won the Goodwood Cup and Doncaster Cup in 1930, and the Chester Cup in 1931, the Ebor Handicap in 1931 carrying 9 st 5 lb, and the Rosebery Memorial Plate.

After winning the Goodwood Cup and Doncaster Cup in 1930, he was second in both races in 1931, losing to Salmon Leap and Singapore respectively. He was also second in the Goodwood Cup in 1932, behind Brulette. He won 18 races from 55 starts on the flat. He retired with winnings of over £12,000.

Robert Charles Lyle published a biography of Brown Jack in 1934, detailing his races. London & North Eastern Railway A3 class locomotive 60043 was named after the horse. Built at Doncaster Works it entered service in December 1935.

Woah, Shimmer!
Color: Late Autumn, Color: Late Autumn
I love cute little things like this with the spray bulb. They’re fun gifts. My daughter likes to shimmer sometimes. She kind of overdid it the first time. It does t take much to get a sparkly, fine shimmer. The photos are a bit exaggerated on the product page. You don’t have to “paint” your skin with it. It’s an easy application, and when used right really provides a nice accent. It’s light and has a quality look and feel.

So pretty!
Color: Late Autumn
This shimmer is beautiful! It applies smoothly and evenly and it sparkles absolutely beautifully. You can do one spritz for a very light coverage or a few to really glow! I love the applicator - makes me feel fancy. It was a little bit sticky at first but it dries quickly and isn't sticky after that. It's a really great product to brighten up your look. Highly recommend!

This is such a fun little product.
Color: Diamond White
This is such a fun little product. The shimmer is really pretty and fine, not chunky or glittery in a bad way. It gives a nice glow without looking overdone. Super easy to apply and a little goes a long way. I’ve used it on my face and collarbones and it looks great in different lighting. For the price, I’m honestly impressed.

Glitter Puffs
Color: Late Autumn, Color: Late Autumn
*Poof* and then there was glitter. Boko Highlighter Powder Spray, Body Shimmer Spray for Glitter Highlighter Makeup makes it as easy as squeezing a bulb. The biggest part of the assembly of the product is to male sure you remove the plastic cap and the rubber tipped end. If you miss either the spray will seem to not work. Once properly set up the powder spray bottle only takes a modest squeeze to dust the skin with instant glitter and glory. I love the look, the easy to use spray, and the bottle itself which has a simple but elegant feel to it!

Extremely fine shimmer- the air bulb works well for application- Even and controllable
Color: Late Autumn
This is a great way to apply a very fine sparkle. The shimmer is very very finely ground and it sprays out evenly with this air bulb. It does have a lid so there's no chance on it getting everywhere unless you leave the lid off. It also comes with a little plug in the hole so there's two mechanisms there to keep the glitter in the bottle when not in use it's very easy to use and apply and the spray pattern is very even. I got the golden shimmer which looks great with a tan or if you have warmer undertones in your skin. It doesn't require any sort of setter or glue + doesn't have any fragrance. It's a small bottle so it doesn't take up a lot of room.
