Drawing direct inspiration from the Louis XVI era, the D2 Greta Sofa is defined by its architectural rigor and "solemn" elegance, characteristic of 18th-century French court furniture. The sofa features the quintessential straight lines and neoclassical ornamentation of the period, executed with a precision that bridges historical art and modern comfort. This model is the primary canvas for Modonutti’s "flagship" finish hand-antiqued gold leaf with giudaica—a specialized technique that gives the wood a deep, storied patina.
