D-Chiro-inositol from Chirositol®  contains an extract obtained from Ceratonia siligua pods (Carob tree, carob tree, carob) and it contains more than 95% of d-chiro-inositol. D-chiro-inositol is one of the isomers of inositol. Inositol, called vitamin B8, has several isomers (the same molecule, but differently arranged in space or with a different arrangement of atoms). Not all isomers will have the same effect or their effect may vary in intensity. Two inositol isomers are biologically active, i.e. myo-inositol (MI) and D-chiro-inositol (DCI). While the (MI) isomer can be obtained from the diet, D-chiro-isnositol is present in food products in trace amounts.

As many studies and publications show, D-chiro-inositol takes part in regulating the level of glucose and insulin, thanks to which it helps reduce the level of sugar and insulin in the blood, and may also be helpful for women with polycystic ovary syndrome, where, as studies have shown, these women have low level. Additionally, it helps reduce androgen levels and has a positive effect on acne.

The product also contains manganese, which is a trace element.

INGREDIENTS: D-Chiro-Inositol, manganese sulfate, brown rice flour, capsule shell: gelatin, fillers: magnesium salts of fatty acids.

HOW TO USE: One capsule a day. The product cannot be used as a substitute for a properly varied diet.

STORAGE : Store at room temperature, out of the reach of small children. The product is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
