Description

This rich, velvety treatment crème blends the best of nature and science, featuring three proprietary actives alongside a curated blend of pure, responsibly sourced botanicals known for their skin-enhancing benefits.

HYVIA®—a patented hydrator derived from organic, non-GMO chia seed oil—floods the skin with lasting moisture while helping defend against blue light exposure. DSD provides an added layer of protection, shielding the skin from environmental stressors like UV rays.

Nourishing botanicals such as shea butter and evening primrose extract support the skin’s ability to absorb and retain essential nutrients and antioxidants. The result: a plump, dewy complexion with both immediate radiance and long-term skin health benefits.

Outstanding Book
Format: Paperback
Great book, a classic that seems more timely now than ever! First read Dr Akbar’s book years ago and bought this updated edition to replace the copy someone borrowed & never returned (another sign of a good book when they don’t get returned). So glad to have this new copy to revisit the deep wisdom and insights Dr Akbar lays out. He explains the painful & persistent psychological & sociological chains of slavery clearly and irrefutably. This book is a must read for anyone who wants to better understand why it’s so hard to heal the terrible wounds of slavery — even today, even generations past physical shackles....

Quick & Informative Read
Format: Paperback
I only called it a “quick read” because when I get warped in a book, I lose track of time. This is one of those books. Quite an easy read. Recently Purchased the other books that were recommended with this one.

Format: Paperback
This book is a game changer in that it takes an in-depth look at the lingering and undeniable effects of slavery on the psyche of today's African Americans. It is thought provoking and thorough and a must read for those seeking to understand the why's of what's happening today in the lives of many African Americans and how it correlates to the savagery of slavery.
