The new Explorer is the latest member of LOWA’s Trekking boot family and the first to use a new cushioning technology, Litecell PU. Litecell gives the Explorer excellent underfoot cushioning, matched to the stability of a traditional midsole, while still maintaining the lateral support of a trekking boot. The Explorer also features an all new Vibram sole with wide spaced multidirectional lugs. This new sole design makes the Explorer instantly comfortable from new (no breaking in), but it is designed so they can also be re-soled in the future. The upper of the boot has a soft suede with down to the toe lacing, allowing you to tailor the fit to your foot shape precisely. A rubber and TPU toe and heel cap offer scuff and abrasion protection. Finally, the Explorer features a full Gore-Tex lining, keeping your feet dry and comfortable.
