For larger custom closet designs you can use the 84 Inch Vertical Support pole when installing your wire closet shelving. The pole requires the use of coordinating Adjustable Shelf Clips (sold separately) to support a wire closet shelf, and combined the two function as a convenient substitute for wall mounted support braces in closet designs with three or more rows of horizontal shelves. Support poles are sold individually and should be placed approximately every 36 inches along shelving.
Wire Closet Shelving Vertical Support Pole Features:
- High grade metal construction with a rugged white epoxy finish
- Pole should be used in place of the wall mounted support brace for closet designs with three of more rows of horizontal shelving
- A convenient substitute for support braces, which can interfere with available storage space on shelves
- Use with End Caps to finish off your support pole
- Proper installation of wire shelving will also require Versa Clips along the back of each shelf, and Adjustable Support Clips or Metal Shelf Clips attached to the pole
- Support pole and clips work with any depth of our tight mesh and open slide wire shelving
- A pole should be used approximately every 36 inches along closet shelving
- Sturdy closet hardware is great for simplifying the installation of wire closet shelving into custom designs by eliminating the need for a large number of support braces
