Your 4" dust hose can be attached to either the back or either side of the dust collection box, whichever provides the most convenient access for your workspace.

Your 4" dust hose can be attached to either the back or either side of the dust collection box, whichever provides the most convenient access for your workspace.
Mount the dust collection box under your router table, plug the 2.25" dust hose from the router fence directly into the dust box's branch inlet, and let the 4" port deliver above and below table dust from the same port.
