Full hive defence at a lower price, with minor paint marks the only difference

This is the same mesh bottom board with beetle trap that beekeepers across Australia rely on, offered here at a reduced price because each board carries some small paint defects. To be clear about what that means: the marks are cosmetic only. There is no breakage, no warping, and no fault with the mesh, the tray, the entrance, or the feet. Once the board is under a hive, the paint marks are out of sight and make no difference to how it performs. If you want full function without paying for a flawless finish, this is the board to grab.

Mesh floor and beetle trap

A fine stainless steel mesh screen forms the floor. Worker bees herd small hive beetles toward it, the beetles drop through where bees cannot follow, and they land in the removable tray below. Add a thin layer of diatomaceous earth to that tray and it becomes a chemical-free beetle trap that works year round.

Dual-function ventilation

Leave the tray in through the cooler months for beetle protection. Pull it out in summer and the open mesh lets the colony breathe through the floor, dropping internal heat and humidity on the days that matter most. One board, two seasonal modes, no extra equipment.

Slanted entrance and rubber feet

The slanted entrance directs rainwater away from the hive instead of letting it pool, which is what protects the timber and keeps bees dry through wet weather. The rubber-lined feet lift the board off damp ground, slow down ants and crawling pests, and steady the hive on uneven footing.

Two sizes to suit your setup

Choose 8 frame or 10 frame to match your Langstroth boxes. The two sizes are not interchangeable, so pick the one that fits the brood boxes you already run.

Not the sorry copper coated aluminum.
Size: 16 AWG-100 ft
The wire is 16 gauge plenty big for my system. Heck, the wires supplied with my stereo, copomonet speakers, and amplifiers are about 20 or 24 gauge. I'm quite sure the wire will be more than suffeceint. I, m installing a mono sub amplifier a four-way amplifier to the sub amp outputs and the front of lines of the stereo. I'm gonna be pushing 20 speakers all except the sub woofer only pushing 100 watts a channel and the sub will push 150 watts. That makes 21 altogether. Not much just good clean sound. I've been working on the project going on 5 years now. Been bargain hunting, besides the work I've only got about $650 in the project. Can't wait to get it completed here around the end of July. Hopefully, it will sound great didn't want to pay anyone. Seen too many "professional" jobs that were subpar. I've seen some nightmares. Figured if l did the job then who could I blame at least I can only blame myself and didn't pay $1,000 for it. 😁🤔

It's a good one, buy it.
Size: 16 AWG-100 ft
Actual 5 stars! OFC, copper stranded wire, takes solder nicely when tinned, stiff and pliable enough to stay bent. covering melts INTO wire as expected. I was hoping for a good deal and got one.

Not bad for money. But the spot lens is def a narrow spot
Color: 4.5inch Spot Light, Color: 4.5inch Spot Light
I did a direct comparison to BD squadron pro with spot lens. Pic one is 1 squadron spot lens, pic two is 1 auxbeam 4.5 Not a pair. Only one light each. Then the video is 2 squadron pro one with spot lenses the other with combo lens. Then both auxbeam 4.5. I wouldn’t buy the spot lens unless you have other lights or just trying to light a narrow beam a long ways. The fill light is not good. I say the brackets and the finish is on par with BD, not as deep as the XL80 but similar in size. The BD XL pro is def brighter with better fill even with spot lenses. I would say 4 of these would match the XL Pro at half the money if you have the space for four of them. But even 4 don’t match the XL80’s. But for 160 bucks it’s a good solid light.
