Art is a form of alchemy.
As an artist, you're turning something into something else.

A few materials—cloth, wood, paint—come together and become a painting.
And when you're creating with emotion, it becomes more than that.

Painting becomes a way to move through what I’m feeling—
to transform it into something beautiful. 💫

Before I started this piece, I wrote the word RAGE across the canvas—
not to hide it, but to honor it.
To feel it fully,
and to move through it.

I remember not feeling relief when I was finished.
But by painting over it, layer by layer,
I let the process transmute that raw anger into something new.

I didn’t know what the final image would look like—
I just followed my intuition
and let the painting become what it needed to be.

That’s why I named this piece “Alchemizing Emotions.”
